I have 3 herniated disc in my lower back and severe nerve damage down my leg. I've been on Oxycodone 10/325 for the past 4 years. I have always gotten the Watson brand which would keep my pain under control somewhat up until the other day I was given Mallinkrodt brand because my pharmacy had ran out of Watson. These Oxycodone made by Mallinkrodt don't touch my pain what so ever. It's like taking a sugar pill. I'm in extreme pain and don't know what to do or how to go about this. PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ## Since they are both generics for Percocet, which contain Oxycodone and Acetaminophen, there is probably a slight difference in the amounts of the active ingredients that they contain, when compared to each other. Under U.S. federal law, the FDA does allow the generics t...

So this s what I heard. The Walgreens brand that everyone was accustomed to was a Watson product and apparently a lot of their distribution was in Puerto Rico. The Hurricanes that hit the area in PR affected the distribution and production of Oxycodone at Walgreens. I went to almost all of there stores in mid December without any luck finally I resorted to CVS which had a Mallinkrodt product. Walgreens had to resolve their shortage as they were losing customers that 10 day period they negotiated with Camberwhich is actually a company from India that just set up shop and company in New York September of 2017. So I don't know if that is the product they are sticking with until Watson products become reliable or if they signed a contract. All I can say is I hope they have higher qualit...

I have been going to pain management for 20 years. This time around, I got a new Oxycodone Hydrochloride pill marked "RP-20", which doesn’t seem the same as other 20 mg pain pills I've had. Does anyone know if it's an instant release or extended release tablet? ## They are made by rhodes and I believe they are instant release. Mine were anyway. ## I was told by a medical professional I trust it most likely is an immediate release type from Rhodes Pharmaceuticals as they have taken over a large part of making these meds once dominated by Mallinkrodt

I have the 5mg roxycodone from caraco pharm and they are giving me horrible hives. Ive been on oxycodone for years and never had this reaction. First time ever taking this manufacturer. Has anybody ever had this ## Hello, Scott! How are you doing? I'm very sorry about the hives. The inactive ingredients can be completely different from one generic to another, so it might be one of them that you're allergic to. Have you consulted your doctor about the issue? This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ## I am allergic to the fillers in generic oxycodone from Amide, Mallinkrodt, and Ethex as well as M.S. Contin by Endo. Just having the tablet (or capsule by ...

I've noticed the 10mg k56 and the 15mg a214 effect me differently at the same dose (1.5 ks or 1 a) I know generics are supposed to be equivalent but we all know that's just not what's been happening (mallinkrodt generic Norco Percocet and oxycodone all are not better than Tylenol and their dilaudid is not the same as other brands either. But I was wondering in people's experience and opinion what kind of generic oxycodone provide the most relief. (3 car accidents, 3 surgeries) ## 10mgs and 15mgs are not the same dosage. One is higher than the other, so they will not work the same. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. The Norco, Percocet, and...

My pharmacy has been switching prescription generics between 15 mg oxycodone HCL tablets for more than a year now. It is not unusual for me to get a new generic every time I fill my prescription and in many instances they will give me two different forms of the generic for one prescription because they switch so often. They have now put me on AUROBINDO which does not work at all for my chronic pain and if that wasn't bad enough they also provide counterfeit information in the form of paperwork claiming that the drug I have been given is actually manufactured by Mallinkrodt. I have pictures of the label as well as documentation from the FDA that claims my prescription is from a manufacturer that it is not from. The other concern I have is that I spoke with my pharmacist about this an...

My pharmacy has swicthed to these from the small blue ones ,they still work on my back and hip pain but seem to set of migrain symptoms.there so much bigger I'm wondering what the filler is. Migrains can be bad for my and have lead to cluster headaches in the past.id rather be stuck in bed with back pain than have those again. ## I have just been switched from zydus to the mallinkrodt oxycodone & have also been getting severe migraines every night since the switch so bad that I've had to stop taking them too -- I'd rather stay in bed in pain than have the migraines & cluster headaches -- they're killing me - I think something's wrong with this batch or something ## The tablet with the 114 marking is manufactured by Mylan, not Mallinckrodt. Mallinckrodt uses t...

We are looking for the Oxycodone Hcl liquid that does not have saccarine sweetner in it. ## Most of them are going to contain some type of sweetener, to prevent the oral solutions from tasting awful. I am not sure which company makes any that don't have one of them in it. Have you tried asking your pharmacist if they can located any? Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ## There is a morphine hydrochloride 5mg/ml but comes in other mgs talso 20mg/ml smg/ml etc etc made by a company in Sydney australia called ordine5 oral solution its in a aqueous solution with no sweetner it is alcohol and and sugar free .it is flavoured to improve taste but not by a sugar ## Mallinkrodt Brand oral solution has no sweetener , it tastes disgusting

Compared to the mallinkrodt 15 mg oxycodone there is a huge difference. This is for chronic pain issues and the new KVK-t do not help one bit. Can anyone let me know what is going on? Dec. 12, 2011 ## This tablet does contain 15mgs of Oxycodone, but there can be slight variations in the amount of active ingredients in the generics, so you may not be getting the exact same dose that you are used to and it may not work as well for you. The only suggestion I can really make is that you speak to your pharmacy about it and see if they can order the ones made by Mallinckrodt in for you. Are there any other comments or questions? ## I am a spinal cripple. I was given these K/8 Oxycodone 15mg pills a few months ago - they indeed do NOT work effectively. I can understand why. My Dr's and I h...

I was on Mallinkrodt(sp?) 10/625 5x a day and went to refill at wrong store and have Endocet yellow oval 10/325 one side, E 712 other side, and feel like I'm aching FOR SOMETHING!!!!! Called dr & no help. Idk what to do. No $. ## The pill marked E 712 10/325 does contain 10 mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, the active ingredients in Endocet. However, the active ingredients can differ from name brand to generics by as much as plus or minus 20%, so this may be what is causing your problem. I really wish I knew what to tell you, have you tried contacting the pharmacy? ## Verwon......endocet has oxycodone.....not hydrocodone???
