I’ve gone thru several variants of Percocet 10/325 over the past 20 years, (7 C-spine surgeries and 3 lumbar spine surgeries, and still suffer horrible pain on a daily basis). Endocet is one of the only meds that works for me, doesn’t make me sick to my stomach, nor any side effects. (I haven’t had to have any increases in strength or amount of daily intake, so I’m pleased with the Endocet)... But my cost has gone up to $159 for a one month supply (150 tabs), which is tough for me to handle financially. My ‘local Mom & Pop pharmacy’ suggested I try the Malinkrodt generic as it’s cost is much lower. I’m just concerned that it won’t work as well, or won’t agree with me. Has anyone had any good or bad experiences with the Mali...

A friend of mine had some of these and they made her sick. I had to have her stomach pumped. We saw on this website where these were fake pills. Is there any truth to this? ## Hi Melissa, A white oblong shaped pill with M523 on one side and 10/325 on the back is reportedly identified as a generic Acetaminophen + Oxycodone HCL tablet, made by Mallinckrodt. For verification, you can visit the following National Drug Code link: 0406-0523 Having said this, her pill does fit the description of a real product... However if she isn't going through her doctor to obtain a prescription then they could be anything pressed and shaped to look like something real. I'm not insinuating that this is the case here, but she shouldn't have to question their legitimacy if she filled a prescripti...

I take the Rhodes 10/325 percocet and they are better than actavis oh that don't help at all. Rhodes and Amneal I agree are weak compared to the old Watson's and Mallinckrodt, and Endocet, even Roxicet. What happened to those that did wonders I don't know. ## Hi Stevo, I think when it comes down to drug efficacy, we not only have to look at the active ingredients/dosages, but just as importantly, the binders and fillers which often change from manufacturer to manufacturer. So what happened to those drugs that did wonders? - Well, from my perspective drug companies probably did add various inert ingredients that somehow affect bioavailability or how well our body absorbs the "active" ingredients that are composed within all the fillers. It's hard to say if there i...

M595 yellow small round tablet, is this Percocet 40? ## It's Oxycodone ER 40 mg (NDC 00406-0595), which comes in various forms and is in a class of medicines called Narcotic Analgesics (other different, but well-known brands in this class are Codeine and Vicodin); This drug is used to treat pain (moderate to severe levels. Round yellowish/gold pill with a M in a square around it on 1 side, and 505 on the other (I think). What is this? I was told it was a Percocet 40. ## A round yellow tablet marked [M] inside a box on one side and 595 on the other side is Oxycodone Hydrochloride Extended Release 40 mg (NDC 00406-0595). The difference between Percocet and this is that Percocet also contains Acetaminophen (Tylenol). Manufacturer: Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals Hope this helps! ## The closest match I could locate is a pill imprinted with "M" on one side (not in a box) and "505" on the other. It is also a white pill and not yellowish/gold as you described. This pill is identified as Bisoprolol fumarate (10mg) + hydrochlorothiazide (6.25 mg); which is used to treat high blood pressure. I'm t...

What manufacturer currently makes the best generic Percocet 10's? My pharmacy carries Mallinckrodt and I had a huge issue with their Norco years ago so I would like to ask if they'll order a different one for me but I don't know which would be good. Need excellent pain relief plus not that super tired feeling. Thanks in advance for any suggestions. ## The only issue I see with making comparisons is, this is all a matter of personal opinion based on each individual's unique body chemistry (i.e. something that isn't easily measured from a medical standpoint) and doesn't necessarily convey or predict how someone else going to respond to another manufacturer [no matter if it's the same drug or not]. Some people may also be more sensitive to different inactive ing...

Is this a real Percocet or a fake one? I've never saw a yellow one say 10/325 on one side and M532 on other side. It is oblong. ## @Byrd, I think the bottom line is if you didn't get your prescription filled through a licensed pharmacy then it could literally be anything. Pill press machines are making it possible for just about anyone to make copies using whatever ingredients they please. So the only reliable way to ensure legitimacy is by following the system. You can also contact the manufacturer (Mallinckrodt) directly at 800-778-7898 and ask them if they recently started producing a yellow oblong version of the tablet. Just a side note: My findings indicate that M 532 Percocet (5/500mg) is a red and white capsule with "M 532" in black ink on each side of it. Also, i...

I have been taking Percocet 10/ 325 for a few years now along with flexeril 10 due to crushed and slipped discs in my neck and back. And need both knees replaced. I have had different generic brands of this medication, but since i got these past two times , i thought i had built up a tollerance or something but these do not seem to be working at all. Funny thing my aunt takes them also but gets another brand and they work just fine. So i would have to say these are somehow not working and it sounds like the company needs to get this checked out... Because it seems a lot of people have an issue with this brand not working properly. ## Use mallinckrodt, or a yellow percocet. All of the percocet are made overseas. I talked this over with docs, and I've been in pain management for over ...

Please I have fibromyalgia and I have applied for Medicaid but can't afford my narcotics, Percocet and exalgo ## You can call the Pharmaceutical compaines that make these drugs. Mallinckrodt makes Exalgo. There are a number of pharmaceutical companies that make Percocet (Oxycodone/Acetaminophen). Ask about Patient Assistance Programs when you call the pharmaceutical companies. You can also look for Discount Prescription Cards online and I have put a link to the Discount Prescription Card here below. RX Savings Card

what's the difference between the letters " IP" on a percocet pill and the letter "M" on a percocet pill ## In the U.S. every manufacturer of a medication is required to use a unique imprint code on every dosage of a medication, to enable its identification, in case of an emergency. These codes must be logged with the FDA and by looking up the code, one must be able to discover who the manufacturer is, the active ingredient(s) and the amount of them. When a medication, such as Percocet, is available as a generic, it can be made by multiple manufacturers, thus, there will be multiple imprint codes. Not all companies use a logo, but in the cases you mentioned, the IP stands for IntraPharm Laboratories and the M stands for Mallinckrodt pharmaceuticals. So, it is just de...

is roxicetwith number 54 543 as strong as Percocet 512? ## Hello, Moochie! How are you? The tablet with the 54 543 marking is manufactured by Roxane Laboratories, it is the name brand Roxicet, which contains 5mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. The one with the 512 on it is manufactured by Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals and they list it as also containing 5mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, so yes. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

I'm needing help to find out which company makes this generic 10mg percocet: Yellow Oblong 10/325 on one side M532 on the other The pharmacy gave them to me the first time, but now they have me on white ones that didn't work. So, when I got my next prescription, I told them and asked for they yellow ones. I didn't realize there was another yellow one made by Endocet (E712), it doesn't work either. I can't find company information for the first one I got so I can ask for it next time. Can anyone help? ## Hello, Raine! How are you? Amneal's oxycodone, generic for percocet 10/325 is white, oblong, blank on one side, and imprinted with IP 204 (not IP 203)! I usually take Watson or Mallinckrodt, 10/325, (2) tablets every 4-6 hours (240 monthly), but I was given Amneal today when filling my script, and I am not happy! I have cancer, and I also take morphine sulphate 30 mgs as well (1 every 12 hours), and Fioricet with Codeine for severe migraines (as needed)! I do not feel Amneal is sufficient or even close to the chemical makeup as Watson or Mallinckrodt for controlling pain/chronic pain! Amneal does not act the same way on my body, and I should not have to take more for same result! I think when you pay cash for your medications, and have been on the medication for 8 years, using the same pharmacy, they should o...

Hello, First, let me start by saying that I am somewhat opiate naive. I am not in pain management and hopefully won't need to be. I've had scripts here and there for norco and percocet. It is the generic percocet, or more specifically the oxycodone, i'd like to discuss here. Over the past year i've had issues (such as a broken elbow, recurring kidney stones, and a staghorn lodged in my renal pelvis [kidney]), that have lead to several prescriptions for percocet from a total of 4 different manufacturers. Mallinckrodt 10/325, Amneal 7/325, Rhodes Pharmacy 10/325, and AuroBindo 10/325. I've read a lot of reviews about the aforementioned generic manufacturers. The majority of them have been negative especially for Rhodes. Mallinckrodt and AuroBindo are the only two that ...
