I just got filled my Percocet is has M523 and is a oblong pill.I have never had one that looked like this.I have been taking this particular drug for a few years.I have a very bad back and arthritis.I have taken 2 of these pills in the last 8 hrs and I feel no pain relief, but am nauseated?I have always had yellow generic that worked very good. I have been prescribed Watson brand Norco for years. Recently I was given this same drug made by a different manufacturer (Mallinckrodt). This formulation gave me headaches, cramps, hives and I'm vomiting. I have been sucessfully taking morphine sulfate ER 60mg manufactured by Mallinckrodt for chronic pain for awhile. I prefer it to other generics (Endo, for example). The pharmacy I've been going to has been kind enough to special order it for me but say that they can't continue to do so due to corporate restrictions with pharmaceutical distributors. As I mentioned, I prefer Mallinckrodt to other manufacturers of generic morphine sulfate ER. While I realize the main ingredients are exactly the same, other ingredients such as fillers and time release methods do vary quite a bit. I will be walking and look down my 50 mcg mallinckrodt will be on the floor only after putting it on the previous day. How embarrassing. There have been times I wont even know and will feel awful. I have cystic fibrosis and 50% of my pancreas left. Im so sick of this. I do take norco for breakthrough but I feel horrible when the patch falls off. I dont want to use fabric tape all the time (which works the best, other tape doesnt). I get sick on the hydromorphone made by Mallinckrodt. Can anyone recommend a different and better manufacturer? ## Any except Arobindo brands. I have received Mallinckrodt Adderall that were so weak I had to double the dose to get it to work. And I usually take half the recommended dose of other brands. Aurobindo is the only manufacturer that I have found that’s worse than Mallinckrodt. Something in those meds makes me physically ill. ## All generic meds have fillers. That’s probably the reason you get “sick”. Is there any way of finding out which pharmacies contract with certain distributors? My pharmacy informed me when I went in to fill my prescription that they've been unable to order the fentanyl patches I've been receiving (used to be Mallinckrodt, recently Alvogen), and tbh anytime things deviate from the norm they don't provide me with much information, are very difficult to communicate with, and not very helpful, so them trying to track down a distributor that does have them or arming me with information to remedy the situation some other way is pretty much out of the question. For the last 3-5 years, I have taken Mallinckrodt Oxycodone IR 30mg (Generic) and they work great. In mid July 2017, I filled my usual script for Oxy IR 30mg from my usually pharmacy. This time, I noticed that some pills seemed to give me relief, while others didn't. So I knew it wasn't hyperalgesia. I finally cut some in half & 1/4's & tasted them.
