I have been using brand name Norco 10 325 for some time. recently because of the DEA I cannot get them and nowi mallinckrodt s the only drug my pharmacy sells. I have read so many bad things about them on the internet, frankly I am about to have a nervous breakdown as I recently had rotator cuff surgery and I have to have the pain control to complete my therapy. I have heard good things but everyone says that the one to say the good things are crazy. help!!! ## I understand your concern, however, the only way to know if they will help you, or not, is to actually try them! You're not doing yourself any good by getting upset over it, please calm down. :-) It isn't that the people on either side of what you've read are crazy, it's that everyone is different, so some may not...

I have been taking Qualitest brand 7.5 325 for cervical stenosis overall back problems and assorted other problems. Here is the thing I am take 1/2 of the 7.5 325, 4 times a day does not take all pain away but helps somewhat, well, CVS just changed to mallinckrodt 7.5 325 and they are not scored. The pharmacist said use a pill splitter, the thing there us, everything I have read on non scored pills regardless of what they are should not be split because you do not know where the medicine is, that is why they score them. Is the mallinckrodt medicine right in the middle as the pharmacist said or is she blowing smoke? ## Hello, Yvonne! How are you? Your pharmacist is correct. The medication is evenly dispersed through the tablets, so you can cut them. The only ones you can't cut are th...

Is Mallinckrodt m367 10-325 the same as Qualitest 3601 10-325? ## Both of the pills in question are one in the same drug. The only difference is that they are manufactured by different companies. Additionally, there may be a slight variation of inactive ingredients; but other than that you can be assured that they are the same drug and same dosage. When you switch brand names or manufacturers, the drug itself doesn't change, but rather the binders or fillers that they put with it. Certain "inactive" ingredients that may or may not be present in each brand, are actually detrimental to how the drug is metabolized and used by your body. Because everyone is different, your body may agree with one medication over the other, due to how you feel or based on whatever side effects pr...

I have been taking Hydrocodone 5-325 s, by mallinckrodt for a few years now for back pain , they work really well, I take 2 at a time . My pharmacist switched to Qualitest and it was a nightmare . I took one of those and had a migraine headache the whole day , along with breathing problems, rash , and nausea , bad stuff . I did some research and manufacture does matter . Found a place that has Mallincroft . ## Hi Ilene, Sorry to hear about your experience with the Qualitest version. I'm glad you were able to find a place that has your preferred manufacturer in stock. If I had to make an assumption based on your description, I'd say the binders and fillers could've been the root cause of such side effects. When you switch brand names or manufacturers the drug itself doesn...

Mallinckrodt still makes hydrocodone. Depending on lowest bidder, unless a drug is truly discontinued, that's who your pharmacy will stock. I am a tech and our pharmacy just changed to Mallinkrodt which I feel is an inferior product. ## What brand is the least troublesome ? Do you get many complaints from your opioid using customers ? I sometimes break my tablets in half. I've noticed that the brands that give me trouble are much MUCH harder to break than the brands that work effectively. the ones that work well almost dissolve in my mouth I wonder if anyone else has noticed this. ## has Mallinckrodt made upgrades on their MS Contin er inthe last 4 years ## I use to take Mallincrot because it was the most consistent but my Pharmacist stopped using that and this has been quite so...

I'm sure they're more than a few of you out there that might be returning to look into basically the same problems with Mallinckrodt Pharm"s Hydrocodone/APAP 7.5/325, commonly referred to as Norco. About 4 years ago, Mallinckrodt dumped a bunch of this product on the US market. I have been taking Norco for about 12 years & have always been at about the same dose and never had any problems until I ran into this brand. I've had Actavis, Watson, & Qualtest brands with relatively no noticeable difference. Then four years ago, I filled my usual prescription and came home to find a different shaped tablet with M366 on the side. Almost immediately after my first dose, first came the stomach ache, then the headache, and eventually the feeling of withdrawal. I went to the...

Hello, I have been on Norco 10/325 for several years and Watson then Quailtest always worked great. I go to a small pharmacy and they can no longer order Quailtest. They had Tris till this year and I liked Tris also. They will let me pick from whatever they have and that is Amneal, Mallinckrodt, or Camber. The Camber made me sick. So what would you choose between Amneal and Mallinckrodt? I know the reviews aren't great for either on here, but do you prefer 1 over the other? They told me they could also order other generics if I let them know. Thanks for any suggestions. ## When I had to have my dental work done, I had good results with the product from both of those manufacturers, but to me, it did seem that the Mallinckrodt worked a little faster. The FDA warns that Hydrocodone wit...

Has anyone had mallinckodt hydrocodone that doesn't have any markings? ## Hello, Freddy! How are you? There are no legal U.S. prescription tablets that don't have markings on them. Imprints are required by law to enable their identification, in case of emergency. I can also tell you that Mallinckrodt doesn't make any medications without markings on them, they use their logo on everything they manufacture. That said, if it doesn't have a marking, it is most likely just some type of over the counter product. The FDA lists Hydrocodone as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I have a script of norco 5-325...

I have been taking 5-500 acetaminophen for my rheumatoid for a few years now with no issues and good blood test results every 3 to 5 months. My new insurance company just changed it to 3-325. I've taken about 80 over the past few weeks and have developed thick red painful rashes on my thighs and waist at belt line. They are made by a different company as well. I made doctor appointmntment but its 4.5 weeks away. Any advice or thoughts. this is the only change in my diet or medicine I can think of. ## Hello, Danny! How are you? Sorry about the problem that you're having. Actually, your insurance company cannot change your medication and/or dosage. That can only be approved by your doctor, even if there is something that they don't cover, or something is unavailable, any chang...

Using Mallinckrodt M357 hydrocodone and pain was perfectly controlled. About 20 months later my pharmacy changes the manufacturer to Watson. This new hydrocodone is not working as fast nor as effective. This leads me to using more than i normally would with Mallinckrodt M357. I am still within the doctors prescibed range but i do not like using any more than need be. My doctor has not an answer. What i would like to do is find a Pharmacy in the maryville, tennessee area that carries Mallinckrodt M357 to see if it is the medication or me building resistance. I do not think it is me because my back pain told me the first day of Watson use that it was not working. I have been now with the Watson for about two months. ## I NEED TO QUIT PLEASE HELP ME AND I WANT TO DO IT AT HOME...SO WHAT IS...

Does anyone feel that mall. Hydro 10/325 has changed? It used to work...now it just makes me REALLY tired? and they seem smaller?Im alergic to Amneal anything, so I downgraded to this one from Oxy. There just an not any good generics out there any longer, unless you can find Endocet? Ive been approved for brand. But the co pay is 450.00? I cannot handle that a month. Does anyone have good results with mallenkrodt Hydro 10? ## Hello, Dolly! How are you? No, there haven't been many complains about theirs, at all. You may have just grown tolerant to it, though. How long have you been taking it? This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ## well,Dolly here! Ive b...

Does the hydrocodone-ACETAMINOPHEN contain lactose? I am very lactose intolerant. It causes lots of gas & bloating, which causes considerable more pain. Not a good thing when I'm taking it for severe pain (lower back). What are my alternatives? ## I'm not certain which one you're asking about, since Mallinckrodt does manufacture several in different dosages, but so far from what I've found, none of them are listed as containing lactose. The inactive ingredients are listed as being: crospovidone magnesium stearate microcrystalline cellulose povidone corn starch silicon dioxide stearic acid You can learn more Vicodin details here. Since the Hydrocodone is a narcotic, it can cause constipation and some gastric upset, so what you're experiencing may just be due to th...

I was prescribed hydrocode 10/325 by my md. I was getting yellow pills.now I'm getting pills that i believe are from mallinckrodt the hotel says manufacturing company is MLKCM. My concern is that this MLKCM brand make me feel ill. It causes heart palpitations, increased bowel movements, and it does not help the pain as well add the other. Is this mallinckrodt and had anyone else had these symptoms with this brand? Thank you so much for any help you can give on info with this brand ## Hello, Dar! How are you? Sorry about the problems that you're having. What are the markings on the pills in question? I really can't provide you with any information on them, without knowing that. I have been taking Hydrocodone-Acetominophen 7.5-325 for years for degenerative disks in my back. The generic Aurobindo tablets don't work for me and make me nauseated. Applause go to: Mallinckrodt. Mallinckrodt manufactures that same prescription (white pill M366) and they are the only ones I have found that actually work with no unpleasant side effects. I really wish my pharmacy hadn't switched manufacturers. I am extremly disappointed in Aurobindo generic for Norco. The other one that didn't work was orange with a V on one side and 36|05 on the other, manufactured by Qualitest. It was garbage, just like the Aurobindo. ## I've probably just read 50 reviews on Hydrocodone 10-325's & you're the first person that actually has something good to say about Mallin...

I have 2 different hydrocodone pills. The first one is hydrocodone/acetaminophen 5/325 mg & stamped M365 & was given for a hysterectomy. The 2nd bottle is hydrocodone/APAP 5/325 mg & stamped 360+ & was given for surgery, where they removed a kidney due to a benign mass. This pill has red specs on it. Wondering what, if any, difference there is. I called the pharmacy & they assured me that it was just a different manufacturer. Could you please clarify it for me? Thank you! ## Hello, Terry! How are you? Your pharmacy was correct, and to be more precise the one with the 360 on it actually contains a higher amount of Hydrocodone, the manufacturer Mallinckrodt lists it as containing 7.5mgs of it, coupled with the 325mgs of Acetaminophen. The FDA warns that this medication...

m357 capsule ## M 357 is 5 mg Hydrocodone + 500 mg Acetaminophen. Manufactured by Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals. It's a narcotic pain reliever generic for Vicodin. ## Roy is correct. I would like to post a warning though that this pharmaceutical company does not always have good quality control so their meds are not always reliable. There have been many complaints made about their products.

Just started using hydrocodone apap tab5mg-325. This first dose I took is 2 pills at 12 noon. The bottle instructions say you can take 1 to 2 tablets every 4 to 6 hours. It is now 3:15 pm and it feels like the hydro pills, made by Amneal are just about finished. The pills I have been taking prior to this are oxycodone, Mallinckrodt, acetaminophen 5-325 and I take 1 pill every 6 hours. This is OXY condone, NOT HYDRO codone made by Amneal. Are they different strengths? The HYDRO seems weaker. Whats the difference between the two? And should they be interchangeable? ## It does require 7.5mgs of the Hydrocodone to be equal to the 5mg Oxycodone you were taking, because the Oxycodone is stronger. However, it may simply be that the Hydrocodone just doesn't work for you. Learn more Vicodin ...

I have been taking hydrocodone manufactured by Mallinckrodt for years, I recently renewed my rx and they gave me hydrocodone manufactured by Watson, I found these do NOT work as well. I take 30mg of methadone for 2 ruptured disc's L4,L5 along with 40mgs of hydrocodone for 5years now,I have been getting the mallinckrodt but this time pharmacy gave me the asc116 round tabs and I noticed my pain breaking through sooner and having to take them early than the mallinckrodt. Was wondering if there was a difference in them I thought by law they would have the same milligrams in them. ## Hello, James! How are you? I am very sorry about the problem you're experiencing. Under the Hatch-Waxman Act of 1984 generics are allowed to differ from the name brand by as much as plus, or minus 20% of the active ingredient(s), however, sometimes issues occur, because generics do not have to measure against each other, only against the name brand.
