Hello everybody. I have been taking generic Adderall (20mg XR) for about a month and had a generally good response. My doctor also wanted me to try the immediate release tablet because, sometimes, I prefer a short acting effect only in the morning. I filled my prescription at Boston Medical pharmacy. When I tried it the next day in the morning (half of a 20mg tablet) I started feeling unwell after about 40 minutes. There was no therapeutic effect at all (like the XR which was by a different maker), just nasty side effect like nausea, tremor, tingling, dizziness, a tight feeling in the chest and general malaise or weakness; symptoms I never had with the XR. It turns out the manufacturer is Ranbaxy (or Sun Pharma) who had/has quite a lot of trouble with the FDA in the past, but also recen...

I took one dose of Acticlate as indicated by my dermatologist. I experienced side effects of tummy rumbles, pain from the navel up, sinus headache, & general malaise; shoulders hurt, back hurts. I have not taken any further dose. How long should these side effects last now that I have stopped taking the medication? ## Hello, Dave! How are you? This just contains the active ingredient Doxycycline, which is an antibiotic and its common side effects usually include nausea, dizziness, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. They shouldn't last more than a few days, if you only took one dose, but it would be best to have things checked out by your doctor. Are you on any other medications?

I'm on day 3 of a 7 day course of Nitrofurantoin (4x50mg). After taking my third dose, I experienced what I would describe as 'flu' like symptoms; aches, shivers and general malaise. The next day I felt much better - the 'flu like' symptoms were gone but I still felt a bit nauseous and had diarrhoea. However the symptom I'm most worried about is a cough I've developed. I'm a smoker, bit can't touch a cigarette as I go into spasms of coughing. I'm happy to put up with side effects as my UTI appears to be improving - as long as none of the side effects are considered dangerous. I should also add I'm due to fly tomorrow and wonder if my breathing/cough would beade worse. ## HI, Anne! How are you feeling? Yes, the dry air of a plane may make it a ...

Our son age 28 has sufffered from IBD most of his life. He has now been using Humira 40 mg every other week for over two months with no apparent benefit. In fact he gets worse after every injection. Therefore the Dr has ordered an increase to once every week. He has great trepidation about follow this course. The questions are, How long should one reasonably have to wait to see some benefits. Do many patients have this level adverse reactions to Humira. We have been reading about deafness, migraines, and many other serious lang term effects. I stopped taking imipramine 3 days ago due to unacceptable side effects, which made it not possible to taper the withdrawal (was taking 100mg for 8 weeks prior to cessation). I am having a bad time - nausea, headache, upset stomach, general malaise, vivid dreams and sleepiness. I am struggling to get up and stay awake; I feel so rough... Has anyone had the same experience and can anyone tell me how long I should expect this to go on for please? ## Poor you! I have taken 2 years to reduce from 150mg to 85mg as I have a very understanding doctor. The first week after each reduction is the worst and to help me through this my doc prescribes 12 x 2mg diazepam (no more than that as they are very addictive), I usually take one in the morning then see how the day goes. Couldn't have done i...

I've been going to the same methadone clinic for years now and have all my take-homes ( i pick-up once a week). For the past 2 weeks my doses have tasted VERY different! Also, I've been having symptoms such as, headache, dizziness, fatigue, skin issues, and general malaise. So, I happen to know, from chatting w a nurse, that they use lysol disinfectant to clean the thermos dispensers ( 1 holding water, 1 holding cherry syrup) they use these to water-down or flavor your methadone dose. Well my take-homes have water added, from these dispensers, and now have the uncanny smell and yes taste of lysol... As if they didn't properly rinse them and i'm scared of the potential risk involved in ingesting that. Btw i most certainly know what it should taste like( been drinking it w...

round orange pill nothing on other side ## Hello, I believe I have identified your pill as Mirtazapine (15 mg); which is used in the treatment of major depressive disorder and other mood disorders and more. Side effects can include (but are not limited to): Dizziness, blurred vision, sedation, somnolence, malaise, increased appetite, weight gain (as a result of increased appetite), dry mouth, constipation, and joint and muscle pain. The pill I found is almost an exact match to the one you've described. It is a round yellow pill (but appears to be orange) with 9 3 (divided by a score line) on one side, and 7206 on the other side. Maybe the other imprint got smudged off at some point? Manufacturer: Teva Pharmaceuticals USA National Drug Code (NDC): 00093-7206 Do you think this could b...

Last dose of Imipramine (25 mg) taken on Monday July 2nd 2012. Under a doctors guidance. Slow, very slow taper. Took 5 months, dropping by 25 mg every three weeks. Began experiencing what I think might be withdrawal symptoms since last dose July 2nd. Symptoms have been: Nose bleeds, Nightmares/Weird Dreams, Profuse sweating at night, Feeling flushed during the day, Headache, Feeling of malaise, Nasal Congestion, Nausea, Insomnia, A bit off, Flu like symptoms and tiredness. I've run these symptoms passed by doctor, but have not heard back from here yet. I was on Imipramine for over 20 years with the highest dosing being 200mg per day. Since Imiprmane is an older drug, I can't seem to find comprehensive information about withdrawal. I'm on day 9 of withdrawal and hoped the sym...

I have been taking venlafaxine from Qualitest, the generic for Effexor for at least a decade and the brand prior the generic becoming available with no issues- it worked with no noticeable side affects. Then Publix corporate greed to save a few pennies a pill switched to Nortstar extender without even informing me. By the time I figured it out that Nothstar's venlafaxine was causing my high, depression, chronic fatigue, constant malaise, internal organ and external varieties of pains I had already suffered through many months of these and more shellfish symptoms. Whether it is a placebo and just suddenly cut off all supply of absolutely necessary decade +long drug in my system or contained harmful fillers-who knows for sure. But for certain it messed up my system and life for along time
