after i quit using teva quinpril pill and was placed on another generic brand my blood pressure started going up and down and my heart felt extremely tired. I only wish I knew where to go to get the long brown blood pressure pill from teva. Please answer me. Is the pill acturally off market? ## I don't see anything listed about Teva discontinuing this product on the FDA site that usually reports such information. Have you tried asking the pharmacy if they can order it in for you? Another question is how long have you been taking it? If you've been on the same dosage for a long period of time, your body may have just gotten used to it and you may require a dosage adjustment.

I recently changed pharmacies and got my lisinopril filled. Pill is a plain white round pill on one side and 20 on other side. Been taking now for a week and blood pressure is still very high. Not helping to control it. Making sure it is actually lisinopril ## Hello, Connie Girl! How are you? I'm sorry about the problem that you're having. Yes, there is a 20mg Lisinopril tablet with this marking that is manufactured by Accord Healthcare. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, stomach pain, frequent urination and hypotension. How high is your blood pressure? Have you informed your doctor?

I have a tiny white pill with a 19 on one side and little writing on the other. I can't see what the little writing is on the other side. ## Hello, Ron! How are you? Without knowing what that writing is, I can't say for sure, but I think you may have found a 25mg Atenolol tablet with the marking RE 19 that is manufactured by Ranbaxy Pharmaceuticals. It is most commonly used to treat high blood pressure and certain cardiac conditions. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination and hypotension. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I found Ranbaxy Atenolol to be better than Sandoz Atenolol but can no longer find it. Called Ranbaxy and they are no longer making this drug. Help!

I found a black oval capsule with white writing that says cell-press. What is it? ## 21 cell press 500mg capsule. They are red and with cell press plus printed on the capsule. ## This appears to be an over the counter appetite suppressant. The black capsule is the original Cell-Press and the red one is Cell-Press plus. The idea is that they expand in your stomach, making you feel fuller. Each capsule of Cell-Press Plus contains: Cellulose and Natural Gums 500mg Chromium (Picolinate) 50mcg Benzocaine 3mg Inactive Ingredients: Gelatin, Silica, Vegetable Stearate, Titanium Dioxide, FD&C Red #40.

I have tried 5 different Blood Pressure Medications. All are giving me side effects of depression, loss of energy, trouble concentrating, joint pain, swelling, weight gain. Anyone here know of a Blood Pressure Medication with few side effects? ## Hello, Julie! How are you? I understand what you're going through. I rant the gamut of them myself, it took about a year to finally find ones that worked for me, without making me totally miserable. Thus, the ones I suggest you speak to your doctor about are Atacand and Labetalol, with the latter being known to cause the least side effects. You may still experience some, short-term, such as nausea, dizziness and headache, but they usually wear off after a few weeks, as your body gets used to the medication. Is there anything else I can help...

I use to take lopressor, the long pink pill. They switched me to metoprolol succinate 2 yrs ago. I liked the brand name lopressor better as it had no side effects and kept my blood pressure down. The insurance company said they stopped making the original lopressor then. But now I heard they are back on the market. Does anyone know this answer? ## From what I can tell, it is still available, but that doesn't necessarily mean that your insurance will cover it for you, since the generics are usually cheaper. What type of side effects have you been experiencing? The FDA lists the typical ones as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and hypotension. How long have you been taking your current dosage? You may need a dosage adjustment, or to try a different ...

can I take benadryl with exforge? ## I didn't find any interactions listed between these medications. Learn more Benadryl details here. Learn more Exforge details here. However, in some people the Diphenhydramine in the Benadryl can act as a stimulant and elevate their blood pressure and heart rate, so you shouldn't take it without making sure it is safe for you to do so. I have had panic attacks for over 12 years now, however my heart has always had flutters. These flutters seem to be getting worse and making me almost pass out. My Dr put a 24 hour heart monitor and seen that my heart rate was fluttering and up and down. They say it showed no sign of heart disease but cannot explain why my blood pressure goes from 115/75 to 87/61 within secs of each other. When this happens I get very light headed and sick to my stomach. They have put me on metoprol but this has not resolved the issue. Could this all be from my stress and anxiety? And if my blood pressure is low why put me on this meds when it is for high blood pressure and just makes it lower? ## Hello, Jan! How are you? What type of doctor have you been seeing for this? My husband found this pill in the medicine cabinet but has no idea what it is for. He is a heart patient and takes many different drugs, but this one may be generic. It just doesn't look familiar. It is a pink oval pill that appears to have a fancy "G'' followed by the numbers "101" Thank you! ## Hi Barbara, I believe I may have located a match to your pill; however, the "fancy G" is noted to be a capitol "E" with an italic slant to it; making it come off as possibly being a "G". The marking "E 101" on a pink oval pill is identified as Lisinopril (10 mg); which is used primarily in the treatment of high blood pressure. I am diabetic patient and I feel that when I take targit-H medicine once a day I got mouth infection than I can't eat salty food .is it true? ## Hi, Rajinder! No, that wouldn't be an infection. That's not how they work. Targit-H contains the active ingredients Telmisartan and Hydrochlorothiazide, it is most commonly used to help lower high blood pressure and treat certain cardiac conditions. Side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache, stomach pain and dehydration. You can learn more Targit-H details here. Are you making sure to take it with a full, 8 ounce glass of water or other liquid? If you are, then it shouldn't be making your mouth so sensitive like that. It can cause dry mouth, as a side effect, is that the problem that you're having?

I have c 230 yellow pill but for some reason not all of them line up perfectly with the marked c 230 when flipped over , is this normal for this pharmaceutical company to not line up the marks perfectly when flipped over seems like the 230 can be sideways or upside down? ? ## Hi Nycole, Did you get this pill filled at a licensed pharmacy? If not, a lab analysis would probably be the only safe way to tell if it's legitimate. Counterfeiters can easily purchase pill presses off the internet and compose whatever type of tablet they want, making it look virtually identical to the real thing (but often have minor to moderate deformities such as what you described). When I look at a legitimate image of a 10/325 generic Percocet tablet (made by Alvogen Inc.) that's round, yellow and mar...

I found it looking through a car I just bought from a car dealership. It's round, peach, and says R12 on one side and blank on the other. I googled the pill and the results that pop up are riseperdal for bipolar, etc. but those pill images have an M on the other side, the pill I have doesn't. Can anyone help identify it? ## Based on your findings and mine, I can only speculate that this may be a counterfeit of the real 2mg Risperidone tablet marked with M R12; being that the M on the other side is the only differentiating factor. A pill press could've very likely been used in its making...and whomever pressed it may very well have left the back side blank intentionally or by mistake... There's really no way to know for certain without sending it to a lab for an in-depth ...

Can Losartan 50 mg loose it's effectiveness for lowering blood presure overlong term use? ## It actually isn't that the medication loses effectiveness, but that your body gets tolerant to it. Your body can get used to anything you use for a long period of time and it will eventually stop working as well for you. Learn more Losartan details here. There's really no precise time frame, it can vary from person to person. Some people can take the same medication in the same dosage for years and it will keep working, but some people will need to switch to a different dosage or medication after just a few months. And since we are talking about your blood pressure, you also need to be aware the certain lifestyle habits can also play a role and may be making it so it's going high...

My Furosemide dose continues at three 20mg pills twice a day, but a change occurred with the manufacturer. It was Westward (54 840) and now it's Solco Health (V 3169). My daytime blood pressure is now dropping. Is there any correlation between this and the differences in pills? Both are 20mg tablets. ## How low is it dropping? Have you made any other changes to your diet, or lifestyle? Sometimes, as ones blood pressure gets lower, medication doses need to be lowered to keep it from going too low. Are you also making sure that you are staying hydrated? Furosemide works by removing excess fluid from the body, and if you become dehydrated, that will also cause your blood pressure to drop. Other side effects may include dizziness, headache, and increased urination.

My opinion is they are pressed on a s***ty pill press. I believe that cartels are using hydrocodone and making narcotic products. This explains the reason they seem weaker than the Norco. It's definitely an analgesic pain medicine, but with it being made on the black market they are a little weaker with less resources; the bootleggers use fake packing to give it a brand name look, similar to how the opium and coco is inconsistent.

I need to know what the difference is with the two sides on the inside of a Concerta 36? Is it 2 separate drugs that make it what it is because I was told one side was the actual methylphenidate and the other side was a blood pressure drug? Someone know is addicted to abusing pills or anything else it seems and I told him to not to misuse this pill, because I was also told it could kill a person if it's taken the wrong way. Can someone help me explain this pill to him so he can read for himself from someone else what's exactly going on because he thinks I'm joking about it and I just don't want him to die for making the wrong decision. Seriously as fast as you can possibly respond would be helpful. Thank you for your time in advance. ## Hello, Lee! How are you? No, there...

Small round yellow pill with an M on one side L25 on the other side, neither are scored ## THIS IS NOT MORPHINE NOR ANY TYPE OR NARCOTIC DRUG! Just because it has an M on it, does not mean it is Morphine, the imprint has nothing to do with what the pill is, this is just a company logo for product ID purposes. Here is your pill: Pill Image This is Lisinopril 20mgs, a generic for Prinivil, this is used to help lower cholesterol and blood pressure. ## Yellow pill round with a 20 on one side and a wierd M or E with two lines making the middle line
