doctors who prescribe narcotics in dayton ohio
Does anyone know of any doctors in the Dayton, Ohio area that prescribe narcotics for Fibromyalgia? I have just moved to the area and have never had an issue finding a doctor for this, but now they tell you upfront that they dont prescribe narcotics for fibromyalgia. Help? Anybody? ## Hello, Sweetdeb! How are you doing? Sorry about the problems that you're having. What type of doctors have you been consulting and how have you been asking them about prescriptions? Due to the new regulations that were put in place this year, if you require medications on a long-term basis for pain management, you'll need to see a specialist. General practitioners are now severely limited in what they can prescribe, how much they can prescribe, how long they can prescribe it and why they can prescr... ...

doctors who will prescribe pain medication kansas
I too am a chronic pain sufferer, I was in a bad car accident several years ago, all my limbs were broken at once and they used my hip to rebuild one of my feet. I have a GP that has been helping me but now feels she has been letting me use too many narcotics and has abrubtly cut me off. I'm interested in controlling the pain not using the pills but it feels like nobody really cares. Is there any doctors in the Kansas City area who believe in pain management with narcotics. I believe that if you don't understand the pain of the indivdual it's hard to understand why we ask these questions. I don't want to shop for a docotor that's not what I do but what are we suppose to do if they won't help us. ## Hello, JJ! How are you doing? I am very sorry about the problem t... ...

Doctors In St Louis That Prescribe Oxy
I was in a car accident and am in a lot of pain but due to my age the doctors I have seen think I'm just trying to get pain pills for fun and that's not the case any ideas on doctors in st Louis area who easily write pain scripts ## Hey john doe, Unfortunately, no one can really know ahead of time what a doctor is or is not willing to prescribe, as that is based on the doctor's discretion and not on someone else's previous appointment (especially since many doctor's are now worried about losing their licensing for prescribing too many narcotics). Some advice I can give you is to not specifically ask for any 'specific medication' when you see a new doctor. Just make sure to transfer or take a copy of all your medical records with you. Then, the best approach i... ...

doctors in md that prescribe oxycodone
In need oxycodipone for fppaim due to po PTSD an tab and hp shoulder surgery also intake hydrocodipone toe migraines ## Hello, Andy! How are doing? Unfortunately, there is no database of doctors according to what they will or will not prescribe that I can refer to for you. And if you require such medications on a long-term ongoing basis for chronic pain, you'll need to see a pain management specialist, due to the new regulations that were put in place this year. Since they are narcotics, which can be habit forming and are very commonly abused, this has been done to try to better monitor their use. Learn more Oxycodone details here. Learn more Vicodin details here. Do you currently have a PCP that could refer you to someone? If so, that would likely be the easiest way to find the hel... ...

Doctors Who Will Prescribe Pain Medication Portland Oregon
suffering from cronic headaches and neck pain due to a variety of events ## looking for a new dr. who will be willing to give me the same meds as I was taking before I moved here, they are narcotics that I take on a regualar basis for headaches and neck pain, hydro codone 10 to be exact, where I came from it is tough to find a dr. who will help you, how will I start over in Portland to find a helpful Dr.? ## I'd suggest looking for someone that specializes in pain management and making sure that they get a full copy of your medical records from your prior doctor. In many cases, if you go in asking for a specific medication they will see it as drug seeking behavior, but they can see what works for you as documented by other physicians, they are more likely to prescribe accordingly. I Need A Dr In La That Will Write Rx For Narcotics

I have no menisus left it's bone against bone. ## Have you considered a pain management specialist? There are several in that area, but there's really no way of knowing what they will, or will not prescribe, if anything. Another problem might be due to your specifically asking for narcotics, if that's what you're doing when you see a new doctor. Most doctors will see that as being drug seeking behavior. doctors who prescribe methadone in indiana
somewhere close to columbus indiana husband has been taking for 8 years and family doc wont presribe cuz of new dea rules ## There are no new DEA rules governing Methadone. Go to their website and look it up. ## BL is correct, the rules are the same. If he was taking it for addiction/maintenance treatment, then regular doctors have never been able to prescribe it for that. That can only be done in a clinical setting by those specially trained in its use for such. And for pain, the new regulations concern all narcotics, not just Methadone. There have been severe restrictions placed on general practitioners and surgeons regarding what they can and cannot prescribe, so if someone needs such a medication for the long-term treatment of chronic pain, they will have to see a pain management sp... ...

Finding a Doc to prescribe Oxycodone in Springfield Mo

Opiates for Pain Mangement
I think that the Internet is a very useful tool to gain information. I also think that this website provides a good forum for discussion of medications. What troubles me, however, is the huge number of people placing posts asking where they can find a doctor to prescribe large amounts of narcotics, supposedly for pain management. Most allege that their doctors "moved" or "stopped prescribing". I have sincere doubts about these posters. People posting these kinds of questions are rare in reality; doctors don't move without referring patients to other health care providers. Doctors also don't just "stop prescribing" - unless it's for a good reason. One of the good reasons a doctor can stop providing prescriptions is if s/he thinks a patient is taking a ... ...

Find A veterans administration Doctor to prescribe Oxycodone
How can I find a VA doctor to prescribe oxycontin? I have chronic pain. This drug helps to relieve it, and it doesn't make me loopy. However, because there are those who abuse it, I have not been able to find a VA doctor who will prescribe it. ## I know a few veterans that go to the VA for all there primary care doctors but go to a pain management clinic because the VA is very strict on giving narcotics. They do have a pain management program at the VA but they will start you drugs like tramdol, baclofen and gabapentin and I doubt you will ever get oxycontin. You are probably better off finding a pm doc who is not affiliated with the VA. Good luck ## Have a legit pain issue and you wont have a problem.
