How is your wife? What type of doctor has she been consulting? Physicians really have no choice but to be extremely cautious about prescribing such medications and, due to the new regulations that were put in place last year, if strong narcotics are required on a long-term ongoing basis, then only a specialist can prescribe them. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizzines... ...

How are you? I'm sorry, but due to the new regulations that were put in place last year, there are limits on how much they can prescribe. Does anyone know of any doctors in the Dayton, Ohio area that prescribe narcotics for Fibromyalgia? I have just moved to the area and have never had an issue finding a doctor for this, but now they tell you upfront that they dont prescribe narcotics for fibromyalgia. Help? Anybody? ## Hello, Sweetdeb! How are you doing? Sorry about the problems that you're having. What type of doctors have you been consulting and how have you been asking them about prescriptions? Due to the new regulations that were put in place this year, if you require medications on a long-term basis for pain management, you'll need to see a specialist. doctors who will prescribe pain medication kansas
I too am a chronic pain sufferer, I was in a bad car accident several years ago, all my limbs were broken at once and they used my hip to rebuild one of my feet. I have a GP that has been helping me but now feels she has been letting me use too many narcotics and has abrubtly cut me off. I'm interested in controlling the pain not using the pills but it feels like nobody really cares. Is there any doctors in the Kansas City area who believe in pain management with narcotics. I believe that if you don't understand the pain of the indivdual it's hard to understand why we ask these questions. I don't want to shop for a docotor that's not what I do but what are we suppose to do if they won't help us. ## Hello, JJ! How are you doing? I am very sorry about the problem t... ...

doctors who will prescribe pain medication illinois
I have both chronic and acute headaches. I've taken everything. The only relief I ever get is through narcotics. No one will prescribe them so I've spent the last 10 years in bed, in the dark. I would really like to die because the pain is so bad. When it gets bad I'll go to the ER but they won't even help me. I also have a problem with my body making kidney stones. Please help. ## Hello, Rocky! How are you? Due to the new regulations that were put in place last year, if you require narcotics on a long-term ongoing basis, you'll need to see a specialist. A PCP won't be able to prescribe them for you. Thus, you'll likely need to see a neurologist and a urologist. Do you currently have a PCP that could refer you to other doctors? If so, that would be the best w... ...

Doctors In St Louis That Prescribe Oxy
I was in a car accident and am in a lot of pain but due to my age the doctors I have seen think I'm just trying to get pain pills for fun and that's not the case any ideas on doctors in st Louis area who easily write pain scripts ## Hey john doe, Unfortunately, no one can really know ahead of time what a doctor is or is not willing to prescribe, as that is based on the doctor's discretion and not on someone else's previous appointment (especially since many doctor's are now worried about losing their licensing for prescribing too many narcotics). Some advice I can give you is to not specifically ask for any 'specific medication' when you see a new doctor. Just make sure to transfer or take a copy of all your medical records with you. Then, the best approach i... ...

Unfortunately, there is no database of doctors according to what they will or will not prescribe that I can refer to for you. And if you require such medications on a long-term ongoing basis for chronic pain, you'll need to see a pain management specialist, due to the new regulations that were put in place this year. Doctors in Chicago suburbs or Chicago who prescribe narcotics
I could really use some advice here. I moved to the Chicago area from out West and the pain management is like night and day from there to here. I feel like b/c there is such a drug abuse problem in the Chicagoland region the doctors I have seen are not willing to prescribe opiates and if they do they aren't willing to prescribe what is necessary to provide pain relief. The doctors I have been seeing in the Chicagoland area seem dead set on installing a Spinal Cord Stimulator. I have also had a doctor who only wants to do epidurals, injections and when he looked at what I was prescribed to when I came and saw him, he literally flipped out. Followed swiftly by a drastic drop in my medications and him saying "you'll be on motrin by this summer". Yet just a month and a 1/2 ... ...

Doctors Who Will Prescribe Pain Medication Portland Oregon
suffering from cronic headaches and neck pain due to a variety of events ## looking for a new dr. who will be willing to give me the same meds as I was taking before I moved here, they are narcotics that I take on a regualar basis for headaches and neck pain, hydro codone 10 to be exact, where I came from it is tough to find a dr. who will help you, how will I start over in Portland to find a helpful Dr.? ## I'd suggest looking for someone that specializes in pain management and making sure that they get a full copy of your medical records from your prior doctor. In many cases, if you go in asking for a specific medication they will see it as drug seeking behavior, but they can see what works for you as documented by other physicians, they are more likely to prescribe accordingly. I Need A Dr In La That Will Write Rx For Narcotics
Please I need to find a dr in Louisiana around Leesville/Many area that will write a rx for narcotics. I have had 3 knee surgeries and need a total knee replacement. I am in severe pain every day. I have no menisus left it's bone against bone. ## Have you considered a pain management specialist? There are several in that area, but there's really no way of knowing what they will, or will not prescribe, if anything. Another problem might be due to your specifically asking for narcotics, if that's what you're doing when you see a new doctor. Most doctors will see that as being drug seeking behavior. Does anyone else have any advice to add? ## DR.Troy Beaucoudray 504-885-3737 Metairie, La. He is a Neurologist can write anything so do not be fooled I see him you will get some... ...

doctors who prescribe methadone in indiana
somewhere close to columbus indiana husband has been taking for 8 years and family doc wont presribe cuz of new dea rules ## There are no new DEA rules governing Methadone. Go to their website and look it up. ## BL is correct, the rules are the same. If he was taking it for addiction/maintenance treatment, then regular doctors have never been able to prescribe it for that. That can only be done in a clinical setting by those specially trained in its use for such. And for pain, the new regulations concern all narcotics, not just Methadone. There have been severe restrictions placed on general practitioners and surgeons regarding what they can and cannot prescribe, so if someone needs such a medication for the long-term treatment of chronic pain, they will have to see a pain management sp... ...

Doctor won't prescribe any narcotics and I have severe lumbar pain with an MRI to prove it...
My primary dr refuses to prescribe any pain medication at all for me, even though I have 2 ruptured discs, and my L5-S1 is completely gone so it's bone on bone and I have the MRI to prove it. He sent me to a pain management doctor, whose policy is to refer back to the primary for any narcotics...the Professional Run-around... I was on Tramadol from January 2014 to May. It wasn't the best, but made it so I could function. I had a seizure from it the first week of May, and have been without any medication ever since. Both doctors know this, and won't do anything. I have been waiting since May for authorization from the insurance for facet injections. find a doctor that prescribes methadone for pain so il
a doctor that prescribes methadone for pain in southern il ## Hello, Drew! How are you? I'm sorry, but there is no listing of doctors according to what they will or will not prescribe that I can refer to for you. Additionally, asking for a specific medication will make most doctors suspicious and they won't want to prescribe anything. Do you currently have a PCP that could refer you to someone? That would probably be the easiest way to find the help you need. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ## I am a 32 year old male that was recently in a very bad car accident and has had issues in the past with narcotics. Names of doctors who prescribe Dextromethorphan
I have been using Dextromethorphan 60mg Sr/ER for pain management. I was prescribed this medication, which is made in a compounding pharmacy by a doctor in California who is actively involved with the NIH(National Institute of Health. This pain management doctor uses off label medications, but is light years ahead of the traditional pain management doctor, who goes through their steps of the various epidural, nerve blocks, a multitude of other treatment that all the other pain management physicians practice, all the way up to a spinal cord stimulator or pump. I tried all of those treatments and was told no treatment remains, other than heavy narcotics, which do not work in the slightest for me. I heard about this doctor through my brother as I was in the hospital on a dialaudid drip for pa ...

hey everybody. A pain management patient. And I am trying to find a new doctor right now I am trying to find a doctor hopefully in the West Bank area and who is a generous Dr. And compassionate. I was told by the people at Tulane Hospital I was the absolute worst they have ever seen. So yeah.. I need to find a new doctor right now who can prescribe me medicine that I need to be on. Specifically looking for a doctor who not only would take my insurance, but who is also prescribed me my dilaudid IV medicine that I can take home from the pharmacy.any kind of help would be much appreciated.
