Looking for a doctor who prescribes methadone for pain in massachusetts ## Hello, Eric! How are you? I'm sorry, but there is no listing of doctors according to what they will or will not prescribe that I can refer to for you. If you require such a medication on a long-term, ongoing basis for chronic pain, you'll have to see a pain management specialist, since a PCP will no longer be able to prescribe it for you. And the only thing you can really do is set up an appointment with a specialist, make sure they receive a full copy of your current medical records, then keep the appointment so you can discuss what they will or will not do to help you. If you aren't happy with them, you'll have to try someone else. However, you can't ask about any specific medication, when y...

i need a doctor who prescribes methadone in philadelphia ## It may help if you provide a little more information, such as why you need the doctor, if it is for pain management or addiction treatment. Not all doctors do both. Can you be more specific, since you remain anonymous on here? I was just diagnosed with folliculitis by my family doctor an he put me on keflex and my dermatologist has me putting flouocinolone acetonide on it. Is this normal? ## Hi George, From what I could gather, folliculitis is reported to be a common type of skin condition (usually caused by a bacterial or fungal infection) in which the hair follicles can become inflamed. So it makes sense to me why you were prescribed an antibiotic such as Keflex (cephalexin) for the infection as well as Fluocinolone acetonide, which is a topical corticosteroid mainly used for reducing skin inflammation and itching. This combination of meds would essentially be attacking the folliculitis from both angles, and in my opinion, seems like an appropriate course of action. I hope this helps!

Need a doctor around brookhaven Ms to Jackson Ms for pain I have DDD and about 8 bulging Ä‘isk from my neck down thanks for any help ## Hi sambo, Listed below are a couple websites specific to locating pain management doctors in a given area. All you have to do is input your city or zip code for narrowed results: {link removed because site no longer exists} You can give this other site a try too if you come up with different results for some reason or another: wellness.com/find/pain%20management%20specialist Alternatively, if this applies to you - you can always ask that your current primary care doctor refer you to a new pain management doctor or clinic. Please post back if either of these links were able to work out for you. Hope this helps!

I wish to know about Doxytet and bio-metronidazole 400...I wish also to know the causes of abdominal pain and heavy bleeding ## I am not a doctor, this is an information only website, so this site does not provide diagnosis or treatments. As to information on the medications... Doxytetracycline is an antibiotic that is used to treat various types of infections. It may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, diarrhea and non-allergic skin rash. I need a new doctor in Mobile,Al to prescribe me Alprazolam, which I've been on for 3 years.I have all my medical records.I'm having very bad panic attacks at night & can't sleep because of the bad dreams I'm having. Thanks ## If you suffer from anxiety and need a Benzodiazepine class medication (like Xanax), usually your best bet is to see a psychiatrist, rather than a regular medical doctor. Reason being is that they are better trained in the types of medications that handle these problems and many general physicians are reluctant to prescribe controlled substances due to abuse and the heavy regulations that they have to abide by from the government. If you do opt to see a regular medical doctor, some advice I can give you is to not specifically ask for any given me...

I have been on 4 bottles per month for over 6 years. My primary care doctor no longer sees patients and his nurse practitioner sees all of his patients. The nurse practitioner is now saying she will only write a prescription for 2 bottles a month. Any suggestions for a new primary care doctor that will help? I live in Tennessee. ## That is very odd, usually the actual doctor has to see you every few months, in most states. Can you post back and be more specific of the dosage you were taking? The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. Have you asked about seeing the actual doctor?

Dr prescribes diet pills in nh? ## Are you simply looking for a doctor that prescribes diet pills in New Hampshire? It shouldn't matter where you are located in the U.S; as virtually any medical doctor in your area can prescribe you a diet pill (such as phentermine, or any others). If you want to stay away from prescriptions I would recommend Vitamin Shoppe or GNC. They would also carry diet pills that are prescription strength, but it would be best to do your research on the specific brand you are looking for first so you can read user reviews. Please post back if you have any other questions or comments regarding this.

Can anyone tell me a good pain doctor in Philadelphia. Looking for percocet 30s ## Hello, Networks son! How are you? There is no such thing as a Percocet 30. Percocet is a combination medication that contains Acetaminophen and Oxycodone, it is only available in a maximum dosage of 10mgs Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. Anything higher than that would most likely be just Oxycodone by itself, in either the time released formulation known by the trade name Oxycontin or the regular release formulation available under the trade name Roxicodone, as well as as a generic. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Do you currently have a PCP that could refer you to...

my husband broke his back his L 3 Vertebrata two years ago and was prescribed oxycodone from his sergeant and has been on this narcotic every since. And now he got a letter stating that he can no longer recieve his prescription from that sergeants office anymore and that he needs to go to his primary care physician and he does not have one.. So we decided to just try to get him off of the oxycodone and he started to fill really sick and his back was killing him so i guess what i am trying to figure out is what to do about the situation should we get him to a pain Management Doctor or should we go to a detox clinic? He really hates that he has to take a pain killer to function and when it wears off he fills really sore and gets the cold sweats and he needs another pill.. I have to get him i

I'm looking for a doctor that prescribes subutex, I have a hard time with Suboxone, it gives me severe headaches and terrible nausea. ## Hello, Lola! How are you? Unfortunately, unless someone has a documented allergy to Naloxone, or is pregnant, the DEA has instructed them to only prescribe Suboxone. The FDA classifies it as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as dizziness, dry mouth and constipation, as well as those you've mentioned. How long did you try Suboxone? Side effects are usually transient and tend to go away with time, once your body gets used to the medication.

ON SUBOXONE?NOT ONE DOCTOR WHO WILL PERSCRIBE ME SUBUTEX? ## Hello, John! How are you? I'm sorry about the problem that you're having. Is your allergy listed in your medical records? If not, that might be the problem. Suboxone is preferred, because it helps prevent the abuse of other medications, while someone is under treatment with it, as listed by the FDA. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Had a friend almost pass out this evening. She only had 2 drinks and we are in Olando. We called 911 and they said her blood pressure was low but the heart monitor didn't show a problem. She is 52 and takes predizone which she just changed her prescription. They didn't take her to the hospital. What would you suggest?? ## I suggest she consult her doctor to discover why it was low and she should avoid drinking alcohol in the meantime. It may be due to dehydration, since you are in a very warm area and the alcohol can just make that worse. I need to find a doctor ASAP in Saint Louis Missouri. ## Hello, Vanessa! How are you? I'm very sorry about the problems that you're having. However, if you're taking any type of controlled substance for chronic pain, then your doctor's hands are tied.
