A prescription from 2008 is most probably out of date. I take this medication every day for a chronic condition and would never take a pill that old, even if I had significant pain. Call your local pharmacist for more info. ## I have been told to not take pain meds over one year old, however I was told by a pharmacist that it would be ok, however I just don't think I personally would risk taking anything more than the expiration date if more than a year old. Just my opinion.

It's generic for Vicodin. The exact doses are: Acetaminophen 325 mg + Hydrocodone 7.5 mg ## NO! L484 is NOT Vicodin, this is nothing more than Acetaminophen 500mgs, no other ingredients, it is a generic or store brand Extra Strength Tylenol.

They recommend that you mix them in with some moist, undesirable substance, such as used cat litter or coffee grounds, place the mess into a sealed container and then put it into the trash. Alternatively, you can take them to any local pharmacy and they will gladly dispose of them for you. I've taken Hydrocodone 10/325 for years for chronic back pain. With it being moved to a class 2 from class 3 I cannot get my med. Filled. I ask my doctor to change/rewrite script For 7.5 hydrocodone,why does the 7.5 script seem stronger than the 10/325. Has the formulas changed. I have been taking the generic form of Orange Oblong shaped form of Norco which is hydrocodone 7.5 which was working fine until they changed it to a pill with the markings M366. These things are absolutely worthless. Does Mallinckrodt plan on going out of business soon or are they going to remove these from the pharmacies.
