is the m365 pill a norco? and is considered a vicodin ## Okay, Norco and Vicodin are both name brands for a medication that contains Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone, which is a narcotic analgesic. The tablet in question, with the M 365 marking, is a generic that contains 5mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. Are there any other questions or comments? ## Has me confused. Vicodin is Vicodin and nor on is basically double the strength basically 2 vicodins =norco

My doctor writes my prescription for Hydrodcod/Acetam 5-325 and the maker is Watson. When the drug store filled it last week it has M365 on the pill. I have taken three on three different days and noticed there was no relief. I took one pill 3 hrs ago and there has been no relief. That is the reason I took a pill out of the bottle and found the M365 stamped on the pill. If they are suppose to be the same - why is the pain still there? ## The M365 pills are indeed hydrocodone (5mg) + acetaminophen (325mg); however it may be that certain binders/fillers in these tablets affect bioavailability or how well they get absorbed into your system vs the other brand you're used to taking. If I were in this position, I'd probably see if the prescribing doctor could specify a particular manu...

Found and cannot remember what they are for?? ## The white pill which you are describing is Acetaminophen + Hydrocodone bitartrate (325 mg - 5 mg). Acetaminophen + Hydrocodone is a combination of two types of pain medicine to treat moderate to severe pain. For more information about this drug, please refer to the link below... If you have any more questions or concerns, please post back and I will be happy to help you. ## I'm buying left over m-365s, paying one dollar per pill. Is a white oval pill w/ m365 a 10mg Norco? ## Hi Dodie, A white oval pill marked "M365" is identified as Acetaminophen 325 mg + Hydrocodone 5 mg. So to answer your question, no, this is not a "10 mg" Norco. It actually appears to be a generic version of Norco as well. It is manufactured by Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals and has a National Drug Code of 00406-0365 I hope this info helps! ## Is an oval hydrocodone with the number m365 on it a 7.5 milligrams ## ?? ?t? a 5/325 ?????c????? ?? t?at ?? w?at. k??? ?? p??? ??u have ## Ok my pharmacy giving me m365hydrocodone talking about its 10 stilling 0 ## I have an oblong white pill that is scored on one side and has m365 on the other. As many as you are prescribed. If this doesn't work you should discuss with your PCP and possibly change to oxycodone 5/325. Even though the amount of aspirin (325mg) is lower than others too much can have adverse effects on your liver and kidneys. That is more to worry about for sure. ## Hi CR, Thanks for the sound advice! I agree with your perception of what might be the next step up from hydrocodone prescriptions; and also the concern of "acetaminophen" toxicity (I'm assuming you meant to say that instead of aspirin - as to my knowledge I don't think they make combinations of aspirin [acetylsalicylic acid] with pain meds), is that correct? Something else that may be worth noting is that oxycodone 5mg is available without acetaminophen as well, so you can easily av...

Is a norco 365 stronger then a vicodin 357 and why ## Based on my research, Norco M365 is "weaker" than Vicodin M357. It's simply a matter of each pill containing a different dosage of Acetaminophen. Norco M365 contains: Acetaminophen (325 mg) + Hydrocodone bitartrate (5 mg). Vicodin M357 contains: Acetaminophen (500 mg) + Hydrocodone bitartrate (5 mg). Learn More: Acetaminophen + Hydrocodone If you have any more questions or concerns, please post back and I will be happy to help you. ## Is m365 stronger than m360 in vicodin ? ## I had a doctor prescribe the 5-300 Vicodin, and not only did it cost a whole lot more ($68 for 60 when 120 Norco cost $44), but in didn't work as well as the Norco.

Norco.pain killer.on one side it has m365 and the orther side is blank it has a line down the middle ## Hello, Lele! How are you? Yes, this tablet is manufactured by Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 5mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, so it is a generic for Norco. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

I understand that different manufacturers can actually use different amounts of the various ingredients in a particular medication. Is there any way to find how exactly what each manufacturer uses in their pill? ## Hello, Jerry! How are you? No, there is not. As long as they fall within the acceptable limits of plus or minus 20% of the active ingredients as compared to the name brand, they are considered therapeutically equivalent. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. What difference is there in the plain white oval tablet with M365 on it and the one that has pink speckles on it with a V on one side and3604 on the other? ## Hello, Pat! How are you? The only difference is that they have been manufactured by different companies, but both contain 325mgs of Acetaminophen and 5mgs of Hydrocodone. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. White oval shaped pill with v365 markings. Are these 10mg. Vicodin? I'm not sure as they are old? Any idea what they are? ## M365 is supposed to be the real marking on a white oval 5/325 generic Vicodin tablet. If there is a cursive V instead of an M, then my guess would be that the manufacturer was none other than Vintage Pharmaceutical (now known as Qualitest). But if it's an M, then the manufacturer is Mallinckrodt. Perhaps it would be a good idea to contact either one of these manufacturers directly regarding this inquiry, just to cover all angles. Also, depending on where or how you came about getting this pill, it may even be a counterfeit (if not from a licensed pharmacy)... ## The v 365 is an old version of Vicodin, it was 5 mg hydrocodone 500 mg of tylenol

yes, I can't find a list of Vicodin that shows number on pill and strength. don't need photos, just numbers & strength for all Vicodin. 5 to 10's. ## Hi greg, Please correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't brand name Vicodin's no longer being made? I was under the impression that it was replaced by Norco. At any rate, here are some of the imprints and dosages I came across online while searching for Norco (including generics): WATSON 913: 5/325 M365: 5/325 V 3604: 5/325 NORCO 729: 7.5/325 NORCO 539: 10/325 M367: 10/325 IP 110: 10/325 There may be a few others that I missed as well, since it's not very clear which ones are still on the market and which have been discontinued. On top of that I also realize they stopped making tablets with more than 325mgs of AP...

I have two scripts of hydrocodone. One is stamped m365 and the other is n356. The n356 makes me sleepy & the m365 makes me hyper. Both bottles say they are the same thing, but how can I react so differently to them? ## Both M365 and N356 5, contain a combination of Acetaminophen + Hydrocodone at a dosage of 5/325mg. However, there are still some unique differences... The N356 5 pill lists Hydrocodone bitartrate while M365 simply lists Hydrocodone (by itself). Bitartrate is an acid tartrate, that from what I could gather seems to play some sort of role in the absorption process. Each pill also contains a different set of binders and fillers. So it may be that some of these supposedly inert chemicals are affecting the way your body would typically respond to the medication as a whole....

I have been taking Watson's m365 (10mg) for nearly a year. I've never had any adverse effects. Recently I switched pharmacies and they have ip110's instead. I'm now experiencing itching, headaches, bruising, more pain or less effectiveness and (as weird as this sounds) I pass out and sleep 3-4 hours after taking 2. THIS HAS NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE. What's the difference and how do I explain this to my pharmacy, so they understand the importance of ordering Watson? Thank you for your help with this. The pills look alike. Both are white and oblong. The only difference is the imprints listed above. ## The bruising is a concern and could signal a medical problem that requires treatment, as reported by the NIH. You need to see your doctor and have that checked out. Easy bru...

I have two halves of hydrocodone that both say M36 and the other half is gone. Are Hydrocodone 5's M365 and 10's M367 the exact same size pill or is one smaller? I don't know if I have two halves of a 5 or 10 or one of each? ## Hello. The Hydrocodone with v36 on one side and 09 on the other is a 10-325. The 365 is a 5-325 which is a 5 (but not sure). What is the difference between Hydrocodone m367 and v3609? Are they the same? If so, which one is best or stronger? ## I found this thread because i was wondering if anyone else had noticed a difference.
