please tell me if my small white pill with 10 on one side and 00 on the other is the same as percocet. it is said to be oxycodone ## I elieve that what you are looking at is a marking of OC 10 and that is one of the original Oxycontin 10mg tablets, which have now been discontinued and replaced with the ones marked OP 10. It is not the same as Percocet, because it does not contain the Acetaminophen. This tablet only contains 10mgs of Oxycodone in a time released formulation. I HAVE A SMALL WHITE PILL WITH 381 OVER b AND BLANK ON THE OTHER SIDE. I THINK THIS IS 50MG DEMORAL. HOW DOES THE PAIN RELIEF COMPARE TO SAY 10MG OXYCODNE? ## Hello, Ali! How are you? According to Global Pharm conversions, as well as others, Oxycodone is much stronger than Demerol. It only takes 3.33mgs of Oxycodone to be equivalent to each 50mgs of Demerol. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. What's the max dosage of Subutex if used for pain?
1 Reply RSS
Hi. I recently stopped taking 180 mgs. of OxyContin twice a day. I had been on that dose for eleven years. I'm now taking 8mgs of Subutex 3x a day. I'm getting some pain relief but I'm still at a 7 for my average pain scale. When I was on the OxyContin I was at an average 10 pain for the last 21/2 years. That is why I went off it. My main question is what is the max dosage of the Subutex I can take a day? Thank you so much. ## From what I've read, the maximum daily dose of Buprenorphine (Subutex) is listed at 32mgs. So with your current dose being 8mgs 3x daily, you're one more dose away from the maximum. If you're also interested in reading other patient reviews, there happens to be another discussion thread here on this same topic, that you can have a look at i... ...

difference between the types of "percocet 30mg"?
6 Replies RSS
What is the difference between the Percocet M's and V's and the K9's? I know Percocets dont come in 30mg even though everyone refers to them as that. I am just curious as to the difference between them or is it just the companies that make them put differnt markings on them? ## Yes, Percocet contains both Acetaminophen and Oxycodone and they are only available with a maximum of 10mgs of the Oxycodone. The ones you are referring to just contain Oxycodone, in a regular release formulation, so they would be a generic for Roxicodone and you are also correct on what the difference is, they are just manufactured by different companies. Are there any other questions or comments? ## Officially, there is no difference between them. The different markings are different drug manufactur... ...

Also I reside in Canada if that helps any.... ## HI Michy, My guess is that the 40 stands for the milligram, so there's no way to be 100% sure what the pill is. However, I did find some information about a 40 mg OxyNEO (oxycodone) from canada. It matches your description, other than the fact that there is an ON with an underline imprinted on one side. looking for a family dr to manage pain in indiana
1 Reply RSS
My family dr died the day before my appt. I have been going to him for 10 years and he had managed my pain with oxycontin and percocet. It seems a lot has changed in 10 years trying to find a dr and it seems that pain clinics that want to run you through mill with expensive unecesary tests are the only options. If anyone knows of a dr who is realistic and understand chronic pain in the Southern indiana or Louisville ky area any reccomendations would be appreciated. Thanks ## I'm sorry, but due to the new regulations that were put in place this year, a PCP is not going to be able to prescribe such medications for you. Anyone that requires them on a long-term ongoing basis will have to see a pain management specialist. There's just no longer any way around it and that means you... ...

I have reverse swan neck and it has caused 3 herniated discs in my neck. I currently take 3 10 mg percocets daily and 2 20 mg opana ER's. I'm not really getting the relief I'd like. Looking for methadone doctor in jacksonville fl

Hi all. I'm really hoping someone here can help me. I suffer from a protruding disc and degenerative disc disease in my lower back. I've been in pain management programs since 2011. At one point, my oxy use got to the point where I was using 100+mg daily. Once I realized that I couldn't continue on the path that I was on, I voluntarily got myself in to a suboxone/subutex program in Jacksonville, Fl. Right away, I realized that I couldn't take the suboxone because of the headaches that it gave me, but the subutex worked amazing for withdrawls and does help to make the pain more manageable. Now that I've been on it for nearly 8 months months, I've been considering methadone as an alternative because my insurance only agreed to pay for the subs for up to one year. I... ...
