Can you shoot up the round purple morphine with M on one side and MS 30 on the other? And of you can, what's the best way to do it? ## It is actually not safe to try to break down and inject any medication that has not been specially formulated to be used in such a manner. Tablets, especially time released products, contain fillers and not all of them are meant to be broken down by the human body. They are normally just expelled as waste. However, when you inject them, you are placing these substances into your body in a manner, in which, it cannot properly process them out. This creates the risk of blockages, which could lead to stroke, embolism, or heart attack. Are there any questions or comments? ...

i found a pill that is round and green in color says 30 on one side and looks like it says E653 on other is this morphine is it injectable?? ## Yes, this is Morphine CR 30mgs, a generic for MS Contin. And NO IT IS NOT INJECTABLE! It is a tablet for a reason, am injectible would be a liquid. This is a 12 hour time released tablet. ## Yes it is injectible, you just need to know how to do it. Most people try to say no heat applied, but i have found that if you crush the pill add 2cc of water, or a little more, then bring to a boil. The gel stuff will still be there, just throw your micron filter or cotton in there and move it around to collect all of the loose liquid. After you've gotten all of it out you can, i add a little more water to solution then repeat. nice buzz ...

If you inject MS contin, you are risking instant DEATH !Don't do it. bill ## Well, I wouldn't say instant death, there is a good chance that there will be some suffering and misery involved first, at least until they pass out from the OD. You are correct, though, it can be deadly and is not something that anyone should try. There are reasons it is in a pill form and not meant to given by injection. Thanks for your post. ## About a week ago I crushed up an MS Contin pill that I take & injectind it into my thigh. I did it IM because it lasts longer in your body & helps a little more than IV injections. I was going through Optic Neuritis at the time & nothing was helping. I crushed up the pill, put that in boiling water, filtered it out a couple times, etc... I have done... ...

Are Morphine E653 Soulble

is e653 morphine 30mg pills dissolvable ## No, that tablet contains 30mgs of Morphine in a time released formulation, it is a generic for MS Contin. This means that it has been specially formulated to slowly release the medication over time and attempts to dissolve it for injecting can be dangerous. There are liquid forms of narcotic pain medications for injection or to be taken orally and if you require such, you should speak to your doctor about using one of those. Are there any other questions or comments? ...

I have been seeing the same pain management doctor in Ohio for over 12 years for degenerative disc disease with radiculopathy and sciatica. She put me on 60mg MS Contin ER q 12 and 5-10 mg Oxycodone prn for break through pain. Now she tells me that I have to wean down to 60 mg Morphine Equivalent per day because of the new federal laws. I was able to enjoy an active lifestyle and now at 60 mg bid I am miserable and unable to do or enjoy anything. She is forcing me to go to a neuropathology doc for more injections, ablations and physical therapy which I have been through many times before without success. I worked in surgery for 36 years and refuse to go that route because most of the patients had multiple surgeries, each one making them worse. Is she being honest about these laws or jus... ...
