I have been on methadone/methadose maintenance for opiate dependence for approx. 6 yrs. At approx. the middle of this time I found a physician that prescribed me the methadone (40 mg a day) and it was great. I did have to UA for him, etc. But it was SO MUCH better than a clnic.
