which is stronger?
lortab 10\5 or endocet 10\650 how many l would it take to equal i endocet? ## The only difference in the two medications you posted is in the amount of Acetaminophen. The Lortab 10/500 contains 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 500mgs of Acetaminophen. The Endocet 10/650 contains 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 650mgs of Acetaminophen. So, in the narcotic pain reliever amount, they are the same. Since these have the highest amount available of the Hydrocodone in them, coupled with the Acetaminophen, it is very important not to try and double up on them, due to the danger of overdose and the Acetaminophen toxicity. Has your doctor switched you from on to the other? ...

BUTABITAL
what is the diffrence between BUT/ASA/CAF50-325 -40TAB WEST-WARD AND BUT/APAP/CF50-500-40TAB QUALITE I DONT UNDERSTAND THE 325 AND 500 ## That is the amount of Acetaminophen in them, one has 325mgs and the other has 500mgs. The amount of it is sometimes different in medications that use it, due to the fact that it enhances the effects of the drugs it is coupled with, so one with a higher dose of it may help more than the one with the lower. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Hi monica, The meaning of ASA abbreviation is "Aspirin", and the meaning of APAP abbreviation is "Acetaminophen". That said, the primary difference between these two medications is that the 325mg is Aspirin, while the 500mg is Acetaminophen. From what I could gather, there aren't many dif... ...

overdose
My mother, a long term parkinsons sufferer, recently went into hospital as she had been off her food and needed building up. She was prescribed permax 50 micrograms three times daily along with her regular sinimet. By mistake she was given 500 milligrams three times daily for a week before it was spotted by the pharmacist. She suffered hallucinations, drowsiness to the point of being totally out of it and seizures. The hospital are saying that that overdose would not have caused her to deteriate to the extent that we were called in as they were not expecting her to last the afternoon. I am not convinced by this, has anyone got a comment to make as she is still extremely unwell and not expected to leave hospital. ## I am so sorry to hear about how bad your mom is because of the hospital&... ...

Norco 540
My boyfriend got perscribed a blue norco with watson iand 540 on it?1000mg? what does this do?? ## Okay first off, there is no Norco that contains 1,000mgs of anything. The tablets with the WATSON 540 marking contain 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 500mgs of Acetaminophen, it is a narcotic pain reliever. Side effects may include: nausea, headache, dizziness and constipation. Learn more: Are there any other questions or comments? ## Norco is hydrocodone just with less acetaminophen than it's famous cousin Lortab which has 500mg. There is a generic hydrocodone with 650mg acetaminophen, usually green. I familiar with 5mg, 7.5, 10mg hydrocodone and the amount of acetaminophen gives the medication it's name in this case. ...

Teva on one side, 149 on the other, brownish in color
Are these used in dealing with pain from a toothache? ## From what I could gather, Teva 149 is identified as Naproxen (500 mg). This medication probably wont aid in curing a tooth infection, but I believe it should help alleviate any pain that may be associated with it. You can learn more about this drug on the page for Naproxen Details By the way, I've also had success using pure vanilla extract as well as clove essential oil, as alternative options that create somewhat of a numbing effect as well as exhibiting powerful antibacterial properties. What sort of dosing regimen are you following to get the relief you need? ...

Lyrica Works
Lyricda worked well to decrease my debiliting level of neuropathic pain and burn in feet and lower legs. This allowed me to function better in my daily activities. Medicaid has seen fit to deny me the dosage (500 mg/day) which worked, and only allow me 300 mg/day, which is ineffective. I need documentation on the efficasy of doses over 300 mg/day in order to fight my appeal of this decision. Thanx, kate ...
