I thought Codeine pills had to show the strength on the other side like #3 or #4? I looked at the pill upside down also and am not certain if this is a Tylenol or something else? Any ideas? ## @Jack, You had mentioned looking at the pill upside down also... Upon doing so, did you get the notion at the the "7" was an upside down "L"? Or that the "4"s appeared more accurately? I'm only curious because there's a white oblong pill imprinted with "L484" that is reportedly identified as Acetaminophen (500 mg) and it's pretty much the exact opposite of your depiction when held right-side-up. I was at the ER and have an abscessed tooth and took the Voltaren pill as prescribed, but still hurt and cannot sleep. ## Tylenol PM is not as strong, so it is doubtful that it will help more than the Voltaren. is tylenol er a prescription medication? ## It depends on the dosage, there is an over the counter formulation sold as Tylenol Arthritis Pain formula, it contains 650mgs of Acetaminophen in a time released formulation and is sold over the counter. I have been on Tylenol 3's x 3- 4 tablets a night to be able to sleep through the night without waking in pain. I have been on this for 3 years and worried about the long term effects on my kidneys I am diabetic type 2 with severe neuropathy in feet and hands and also I have a smashed elbow resulting in a plate with 20 screws and a rotary unit (?) which is scheduled for a 2nd surgery in 3 weeks. The pain is unbearable and my Dr has prescribed percocet . My daughter is concerned and says the Tylenol 3 's are better for me than the percocet. Is this true?
