I ,m prescribed Oxycodone 30mg each month for pain and have gotten different kinds of them and I know that they say the same ingredients in all of them. what is the difference of the letter m and letter a ## If you are referring to pill logos, then that would mean they are being made different manufacturers. When a medication is released for generic production, several companies usually pick it up and start making it. All tablets have to have unique markings on them, to enable their identification. M is a logo commonly used by Mallinckrodt pharmaceuticals and the A has been used by Abbott. Do you have any other questions? ## i know that "30s" come in light blue with markings of A, M, V. My Pharmacy just gave me the blue pill with the U23 on it and so far it seems to be working the same if not somewhat better than the smaller blue pills that I had prior. Seems lately that whatever type of Oxycodone I take is having an adverse effect on me and making me very tired after a few hours. I never had that problem before. ## I believe the U23 are manufactured by Aurobindo. I've had that manufacturer in percocet form and it wasn't the worst. I was prescribed 5/325mg of oxycodone for when I have headaches and for a month I have been depending on a half of one EVERYNIGHT to go to sleep or I cant sleep. White tablet with the numbers 325 ## Sounds like generic percocet to me! ## Round white pill with N on one side the second side is scored with 325 on top and 5 on bottom ## A round, white tablet with just 325 on it is not any type of opiate, or other controlled substance. It is listed as containing 325mgs of Acetaminophen, it is a generic or store brand for Tylenol. Crasht, that one, however, is a generic for Percocet, which contains 5mgs of Oxycodone, and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, headache, and constipation. Is this exstended release? When I took his prescription to be filled yesterday I was told that the government was not letting any of them go out right now (the 5 mg, that is). I got the 15 mg. ive noticed that my local pharmacies have been changing their 30mg oxycodones from the little blue pills with the M imprint on them to ones that have an A or a a V on them. which dont seem to work as well or are less effective. how would i go about finding a pharmacy locally that does carry the M's? ## The only thing you can do is ask at the pharmacies.
