Lyrica 75mg

I've been taking 75mg Lyrica three times a day for peripheral neuropathy and fibromyalgia pain but it's not quite enough. Would it be ok to take it four times a day? ## Hello, Teresa! How are you? I have had so much nerve pain,from a fall at work.been on 30mg of morahen,for 2 years,just got on Lyrica 75mg.I have taken onley one,and it really worked,but only at bedtime,I wan t to take another one.is it all in my head that one worked?doest it take at least a week to work? I just started taking Lyrica 3 days ago. Can't wait to see if it works. I have degenerative disc disease and scolisos. Ted: I have been on Lyrica 150mg bid for a little over 4 yrs. This drug has been great for me. I started at 75mg bid, for about a week. Then I think 100mg bib for about a wk, Then to 150mg bid. Lyrica works great for me. I had very little to no feeling in back and down both legs. And no feeling in left abd, from mid back around left side to bast mid line in the front. I had 10 hr back surgery.They said that I would be in a wheel chair, that was on 12 Feb, on 2 March less than 2wks later I took my first 2 steps. I walk with out any kind of help. Lyrica is not a narcotic or controlled substance, so she should be able to get a refill a few days early, without a problem. I can't stop sleeping and being really dizzy I take lyrica 75mg twice a day and Percocet 5mg 4 times a day and morphine 15mg 3 times a day and 30mg twice a day. Am I overdosing? ## Glenn, Lyrica is awful! I was on the same meds. I refused to touch Lyrica. I hate the stuff. Do yourself a favor and try to get off all of this stuff, as I have done. It ruined my life for the past seven years. The Lyrica didn't take me long to realize how bad that stuff is. I only took it for several months on a couple of occassions. Just got to the end of week one taking Lyrica @75mg twice daily. I have had Lupus for ten years and my nerves are getting fried. Has anyone else experienced MORE pain at the beginning of this process? I usually have intermittent pain in various parts of my body from the Lupus which worsens if I'm having a flare up. But since starting the Lyrica my pain level has increased in every part of my body simultaneously. I'm hoping that this will go away after a few weeks but my fear is that it will just keep getting worse, so for now I feel like I'm just poisoning myself with every dose. i have been prescribed it for high anxiety - is it good for this? ## Yes it's great for anxiety. I have tremors because of my anxiety and it works like a charm. I am taking 75mg twice a day and it really works. I take 75mg Lyrica for nerve pain in my legs and feet. This is keeping me up for hours at night. I cannot go to sleep for 2-3 hours after going to bed. Does anyone else have this problem? ## Have you informed your doctor? You may need a higher dose of the Lyrica. The FDA lists the typical side effects of Lyrica as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, weight changes, and mood changes. This is my 3rd day taking 75mg Lyrica 2x a day. This is for multiple herniated discs/spinal damage. I also take Mobic 15mg a day for the spine and for a shoulder injury (dislocation, labral tear, tendinitis). I have been on Mobic since May 30 with really no issues. I also take Topamax 200mg 2x day for migraines and have been on that for a couple of years. Since adding Lyrica, the first day I really did not notice anything. The second day went easily also. The third day, food tastes weird and my mouth feels funny. I read that dry mouth is possible, but my mouth is not dry, it just tastes 'off'. I also feel strange in general. I am not disoriented or confused or light-headed, but I feel different and I would not call it exactly pleasant. My head also feels kind of 'puffy'....

I had been on 75mg of lyrica and 100gr of tramadol for about one year. I was mostly in severe pain due to a severed nerve that a lady dentist did to me in Canada. I was on 100mg of lyrica every 4 hrs. before that for only two months.but couldn't afford $350.00/mo the cost of lyrica. I started back on the 100mg of lyrica about 3 months ago.
