No, Lymes requires treatment with antibiotics, how much and how long they need to be taken depends on the severity of the disease. I've been on oxycodone 30's (120) and (240) methadone 10mg for 10 years, then out of nowhere they cut my meds in half. It was the worst time ever to punish me for not going in for an MRI on my back. They have other MRIs from me but I was passing a kidney stone at the time and had Lyme disease messing with every part of my body and brain... Eyes & muscles twitching along with 24/7 joint pain. It was so extreme to mess my body and mind up with awful withdrawals. I wasn't diagnosed with Lyme disease till a year later. Half my vision's gone and I can barely walk in a mall for no more than 10-15 minutes. I find it hard standing to cook or do dishes, as my back goes totally berserk. It's more painful to lie down on my new bed than to sit up and roll my back in downward...

I've taken my wife to the doctor 4 times in one week already. She has fever, body aches and dizziness. First they said she had a viral infection and to just let it take its course. While traveling on a small aircraft I developed a sudden swelling on my face. It was diagnosed as Bell's Palsy. Any information on this ailment? ## Bell's Palsy is a form of facial paralysis, not swelling. What doctor provided you with this diagnosis? Have you had a stroke, Lymes disease or other severe illness recently? A sudden swelling, such as you've described, would be more indicative of an allergy.

taking antibiotic for lyme disease. Brand name selected by doctor was omnicef. Was given generic by pharmacist. The pill is blue capsule. Is sandoz 663 a manuafactured name, but it will still act as antibiotic. ## This type of confusion does happen a lot, so I'd like to add some information to this post to help clear it up for anyone else in the future. The way a pill looks doesn't matter, the color doesn't matter and neither does the manufacturer, the only relevant thing that matters if what it contains, as long as it has the right active ingredient as what your doctor prescribed and the right dosage, then it is still the same medication and will treat the same conditions. In this case, the doctor ordered Omnicef, which is an antibiotic that contains the active ingredient C...

Artridol has been a lifesaver for me - I have Lyme disease and the joint and muscle pain is so bad that sometimes I had to remain in bed. I have been taking Artridol for 3 years now, one every 2-3 days, with NO sideaffects, and I have total bloodwork done yearly, and check my blood pressure regularly. I take it at night before bed, and by morning I am like I was in my 20s (I am in my70s now) with lots of energy and NO PAIN! This is worth its weight in gold as far as I am concerned, and both doctors here in Mexico that I have consulted say you can take up to 2 a day, but I only take them every 2 - 3 days as I said. We are in Mexico for the winter and I take enough up north for the summer, along with his prescription. It is well worth a trip to Mexico and see a doctor to get relief from a...
