Is there. A dose you have to reach before it works ## Hello, Theresa! How are you? Usually, there is a minimum and maximum effective dose, but they are not the same for everyone. It's going to vary from person to person. One person may do well and get great results from the lowest dose available, but someone else may require the highest. There are also people that it may not work for, at all. Learn more Luvox details here. I've responded to several of your posts about the various medications, which ones have you actually tried? Are they just not working for you? ## I have tried many Effexor Zoloft lexapro also used abilify as an add on for a short time and zyprexa for a short time added on. I was most recently on paxil and now am tapering to luvox I never here from you again can...

Does anyone use luvox I am cross tapering from paxil to luvox please let me know if you take luvox ## Please any luvox users out there let me know your experience please ## Hi Theresa, I haven't personally used Luvox before but I can link you to a couple threads where users discuss their experiences with the medication. Discuss/restless-sleep-vivid-dreaming-fatigue-219483.htm"_blank Discuss/Comparison-of-LUVOX-CR-to-regular-Luvox-230469.htm"_blank You may want to post in both of these threads in order to get more feedback. Just be aware, everyone reacts to medication differently so even if a certain brand works wonderfully for one person and they recommend it to you, that doesn't necessarily mean it will work as great for you. I hope this helps!

How long did it take to work and how long are you on it for what are you taking it for please help ## Please respond someone ## Hi Theresa, According to an article I found by the College of Psychiatric and Neurologic Pharmacists, patients taking Luvox (fluvoxamine) may begin to see signs of improvement in appetite, energy, and sleep, within the first 1-2 weeks of use. It goes on to state that symptoms of depression may require up to 6-8 weeks before noticing a full improvement. So from what I understand, it really depends on the severity of each case. Apparently the dose can also range anywhere from 50mg all the way up to 300mg. But only you & your doctor can effectively determine what amount is right for you. I hope this info helps!

I am enjoying my LUVOX CR, quite seriously. There is a difference, however, between the IR and the CR version. Currently there is no IR 'Luvox' per se, but in terms of efficacy, both seem to be equal. There are benefits with the CR, and of these there are many, but it seems to, for some reason, cause the stool to be softer. It does not cause me to have diarrhea, but I am prone to having the opposite normally, so I am wondering, are other people on CR getting full blown GI upset with diarrhea? The IR for some reason does not seem to have this effect,

I just started Luvox following recommendation from Psychiatrist- following 2 yr Rx of Zoloft less effective re: anxiety and obsessive behavior/ persistent intrusive thoughts. As of 1st week sleep has been restless vivid dreaming. Dr. stated I may be tired throughout daytime hours, and I have been spacey. Med prescribed for bedtime. Hoping for results and shared thoughts ## Luvox contains the active ingredient Fluvoxamine, which is also an SSRI antidepressant. The side effects you've described are common for this type of medication and should start to wear off, as your body adjusts to the medication. can you take zicam and claritan ## zicam with klonopin and luvox? ## Can Zicam be safely used with rheumatoid arthritis drugs methotrexate and Enbrel? ## There are quite a few products that carry the Zicam name, so these questions actually can't be answered, without knowing the specific one that you're asking about. You can learn more Zicam details here. As you can see in the information at the link I've provided, it's actually a family of products, most of which used Zinc in them, but since they have different ingredients, more details would need to be known to see if it's safe to use with any given medication. If anyone would like to post with more details on the specific formulation, I'll gladly see what I can find for you. Are there any comments or questions?

I have a history of anxiety/depression. After 2 life changing events I fell back into this funk. Was put on Luvox and it worked fine. Then had another loss with a company rightsizing and was laid off and have since moved back into home with parents (I am 40). Without insurance started going to local psychiatrist who decided I was Bipolar. To make long story short..........wrong diagnosis. After a month and a half on Latuda which has sent me spiraling down even further into depression and hopelessness, my parents got involved and with blessing of my psychologist (who also didn't think I was Bipolar) we weaned me off of Latuda and onto 10 mg Lexapro after much research. I've been on for 2 weeks and have suffered the nausea, dizziness and loss of weight and right now after 2 1/2 mo...
