Also I was taking blood thinners, drug store change mfg from Indians was taking from sun mfg and my vision was blurry and now I am not taking it per my Dr. Tank you for any information! ## Hi Mary, Sorry to hear about your experience with this different manufacturer of Losartan. I take Lisinopril -HCTZ-20-12.5 mg twice a day. I noticed on my refill bottle It says Lisinopril 20 mg twice a day. Is that the same or should they be cut in half two times a day or should I call the doctor. Will this cause my heart rate to be higher and blood pressure to higher?. Thank You ## Did your doctor change your prescription? The original contained Lisinopril with Hydrochlorothiazide, while the new one, according to what you've listed, only contains the Lisinopril. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and hypotension. It is always best to take the one your doctor has directed you to take. Is there a chance your pharmacy made an error?

I have a small yellowish round pill with a 10 on one side and the word lupin on the other side. Can someone tell me what it is? ## Based on the description provided, I found your pill to be Lisinopril (10 mg). NOTE: this pill is classified as pink and not yellowish in the drug databases. Lisinopril is used to control and lower high blood pressure. For more information about this drug, please refer to the link below... I have had issues with Lupin's bupropion XL, and now it seems I am having issues with Lupin's quetiapine. It seems like everything they make is full of side effects. After starting quetiapine 100 mg instant release (sorry I don't know the manufacturer), I noticed I would fall instantly to sleep. Now that I am taking Lupin's quetiapine 300 mg, I have insomnia. That really doesn't make sense, because quetiapine is such a strong sedative, especially 300 mg instant release. I have even taken 100 mg of trazodone on top of 300 mg of quetiapine, and I am still not sleepy. I sleep until 11 am, I don't feel rested at all, and can't wake up in the morning without 5-6 alarms. I've also had issues with weight gain (normal), binge eating and eating cravings (normal), ...

Losartan 100 mg / 574 imprint / white / oval ## I am taking white oblong pill wiith p23 on one side and LU on the other what is it and who makes it? ## If the tablet with the 574 on it also has a logo, then it does contain 100mgs of Losartan, an ARB, that is most commonly used to treat high blood pressure. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and headache. Read more: The pill marked LU P23 contains the same medication, in the same dosage. It is manufactured by Lupin Pharmaceuticals. Are there any other comments or questions? ## Express scripts switched me from losartin in a blue pill to a generic recently. Are they now smaller? I'm concerned. Purchased a new refill and I'm finding the 20 mg pills are much smaller than my last refill. When did this occur? ## What are the markings on the tablet? I'm sorry, but I need this additional information in order to double check the information for you. It is possible that they changed the fillers they used, so the tablets are now smaller. The FDA lists the typical side effects of this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and hypotension. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I take Lisinopril 10 mg also and my newest RX pills still show 10 mg, but they are much smaller. The pharmacist assured me that the dosage is correct. Still, it's troubling that the company hasn't provided an...

I received a new prescription for lisinopril 10mg. The bottle said Lisinopril 10 mg tablet lup previously and was a small round pink tablet. The new prescirption does not say lup after tablet and is an oval pink pill with #101 on it. Is this the same medicine. My pharmacist did not mention anythiing to me about it. ## The reason it doesn't say LUP after the pill is because that is the abbreviation for the manufacturer and your new tablet is made by a different company. It is, however, the same medication and the same dosage. Lisinopril is used to help lower blood pressure. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and headache. read more: Is there anything else I can help you with? ## I've taken 10 mg Lisinopril from Lupin for 15 years. small round pinkish pill with the number 10 and lupin on it ## My urine color is an orangey/red tone after taking one pill. Is this normal? The pharmacy did not supply a side effect list. ## A round, pink tablet with Lupin on one side and 10 on the other is listed by Lupin as containing 10mgs of Lisinopril. The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and hypotension. Andy, if you are taking Phenazopyridine, it can cause urine to be odd colored. What are the markings on the tablets you are taking?

Need to know if lisinopril 10 mg by lupin mfg. is gluten free. I get cramps and stomach pains when first taking it. ## Hello, Nana! How are you? Lupin does list 2 types of corn starch among the inactive ingredients and, depending on the source, there's a chance that it could be contaminated with gluten, if it was processed in a factory that also does wheat products. The FDA lists the typical side effects of this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination and hypotension. Is there anything else I can help with?

I too just received the refill for my Mom's 10 mg Lisinopril tabs from Lupin Pharmacy, and have discovered they are half the size of the ones she has been taking for years. She is 93 years old, is very feeble, and uses a walker to get around. I am extremely concerned about whether or not to give her these new pills as I have read all the side effects people are experiencing. If she was to get dizzy or lightheaded the results could be disastrous. Does anyone have an alternative to this brand that may still be the same as the old larger Lisinopril tabs? Help ## What are the markings on them? The size of the tablets are irrelevant, what matters is her receiving the correct dosage, so they are effective. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, head...

my insurance company would not pay any longer for my hypertension medicine losartan hctz 100-25 mg tabs and put me on a tab supposed to be the same but made by a company lupin. Have noticed my headaches returning which signaled my elevated blood pressure and have only been on the new pills for a week. Are they the same and work as well as my former pills? ## Yes, this tablet is supposed to contain the same ingredients, Losartan and Hydrochlorothiazide, in the same amounts. However, generic medications are allowed to differ in the active ingredients by as much as plus or minus 20% from the name brand. The U.S. FDA considers this an acceptable therapeutic window. Unfortunately, some people, like myself, are very sensitive to some medications and the slightest variation can cause problems....

round pink pill with number 5 imprinted on back ## Is it scored on the opposite side? If so, then it is Lisinopril 5mgs, a generic for Zestril. This is used to help lower blood pressure. What is a green pill with LU on one side and 602 on the other? ## I think that the imprint should actually read LU G02 where the G kind of looks like a 6 and the 0 is more like a solid cutout (NDC 68180-0468).
