I just received a new prescription for lisinopril 20 mg tablet LUP. WHat does the LUP mean? ## I am pretty sure that the LUP stands for the manufacturer "Lupin Pharmaceuticals". Since Lisinopril is a generic form there can be multiple companies making it.

Its active ingredients (dextroamphetamine + amphetamine) are also classified by nih.gov as "central nervous system stimulants", that work by regulating certain natural substances in the brain. One thing to note though, is that different manufacturers of generic/brand name adderall are reported to vary in their overall effectiveness. is this a sub for zestril or lisinopril ## This tablet is manufactured by Lupin Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 20mgs of Lisinopril, so it is a generic for Zestril.
