I just received a new prescription for lisinopril 20 mg tablet LUP. WHat does the LUP mean? ## I am pretty sure that the LUP stands for the manufacturer "Lupin Pharmaceuticals". Since Lisinopril is a generic form there can be multiple companies making it.

is this a sub for zestril or lisinopril ## This tablet is manufactured by Lupin Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 20mgs of Lisinopril, so it is a generic for Zestril.
