Is it like a lower tab. can i go to work on it? ## I've been taking Naproxen (500mg) for muscle spasms in my back. I take it with food and it still causes nausea and a bit of disorientation...I don't drive for a few hours after I've taken the pill. However, I do not take a Naproxen until I've come home from work. I find that a combination of Naproxen and Cyclobenzaprine (anti-inflammatory) will ease my discomfort in a matter of 2 - 3 days. ## Hello, I believe the next lowest dosage is 375mg. Naproxen also comes in lower dosages of 220, 250, and 275 mg. There's no way for me to know if u will be able to go to work on the 500 mg tab because everyone reacts to medication differently. If you're worried about that, maybe try the 375mg dose. If you were prescribed 500m...

I have just been discharged from hospital and prescribed adco-namamol tablet 500mg & Tramahexal 100mg for severe back pain (osteoporosis with numerous crushed vertebrae & discs-upper & lower spine) How will this impact my IBS which at present is presenting with constipation. Dr said he'd give me something to counteract latter but cannot see that these 2 will be doing that. Your opinion please? ## Hello, Margie! How are you? I'm sorry that you're in so much pain. The problem here would be the Tramahexal, since it contains Tramadol, which the U.S. FDA classifies as an opiate pain reliever. Are the Metformin 500 mg tab Sandoz used to control high blood sugar? ## Hello, Based on my research, Metformin belongs to the class of medications called "oral hypoglycemics", which are medications that lower blood sugar. Metformin works by reducing the amount of glucose made by the liver and by making it easier for glucose to enter into the tissues of the body. Metformin has been found to be especially useful in delaying problems associated with diabetes for overweight people with diabetes. NOTE: studies have proved that a low fat raw vegan diet can reverse and cure diabetes ...

PLEASE SUGGEST ME THE BEST MEDICINE TO BRING MY PRESENT SUGAR LEVEL (OF 110-165 & TSH=27) TO NORMAL RANGE SOON. THE FOLLOWING MEDICINES ARE BEING TAKEN SINCE THE LAST 6 MONTHS. I am afraid to take the DOXY-CYCL HYCL 100mg tabs becaus eof the side effects. Yet I have been told I have cellucitis on my lower right leg. I have also been given CEPHALEXIN 500mg CAP LUP Are there any alternatives??? ## The first thing you need to understand is that cellulitis can be a very dangerous infection. In cases where people left it untreated, they have lost limbs or had to have large sections of flesh and muscle tissue removed that resulted in permanent scarring and disfigurement. There have even been cases where it turned fatal, because the infection became systemic. So, the point I'm trying to make is that the risks are far, far greater if you don't take the antibiotics and let the infection continue out of control. And as to their being alternatives, no there aren&...
