Losarto

I've been taking 100mg daily for three years. Seems to be working and dealing with most died effects I.e. Dizziness, fatigue etc. by taking the pill before bed so sleep through half a days worth of issue. I've tried several other meds that I could not tolerate so I've wanted to stick with losartan. The issue is that for the past 18 months the pharmacy continues to give me a large white pill from another manufacturer but I keep requesting the green oval pill. When I think the issue is finally resolved I found myself back at square one with them again. It's exhausting to hear them say we can try to special order,will mark your file. I have been taking medicines for BP. The medicines is changed from one to another like Ramipril 5mg, Losarton Sodium 50mg, Telmisartan 40 mg, etc. I want to know is there any problem in changing the medicines or one should I stick with only one medicines. How can I make a comment on something I have no information on. ## Is Corzaar, or its generic Losarton, a good replacement for Diovan which has no generic and is extremely expensive? ## Losartan is an ARB that's most commonly used to treat high blood pressure and certain cardiac conditions. I took Flexeril and a Valium at once on accident. I also had taken Hydrocodone, Lyrica and Losarton an hour earlier. Will I be ok? ## Hello, Lacy! How are you? Only one of the medications you listed is a muscle relaxant and that's the Flexeril, so why did you think you took an overdose? Have they all been prescribed by the same doctor? Did they tell you to separate them in any certain manner?

I am have been taking 50 mg of Losartan (Teva green tab) once a day (at night) along w/ my Alprozalam. I take .25 mg w/my Losarton at night before bed. Which has been fine. (I take my other doses of Alprozalam during the day @ different times.) I take the Losarton due, to high blood pressure. I started out w/ my blood pressure 188 over 103. I went to the doctor yesterday and it is now at 160 over 90. Still high even w/changes in diet. But he doubled it to 100 mg same company, Teva. I have some side affects I am just getting used to and have been thru many other meds for this with many painful and scary side affects. I am having sensitivity (pain)in my right breast area since taking this drug for one month i take it every other morning also developed a cough ## I am also on losarton and now I have this hacking cough. But not to worry my doctor just emailed me that there is no chance that this medicine could cause my cough and if I wanted to go off it that would be fine and let her know how it turns out. It is always nice when you find that your doctor would rather be right than listening to her patient and offering harmful advice.
