Recently changed pharmacies. The old pharmacy dispensed in the manufacture bottle relabled with my script info. The dosage is 50 mg. The old script the pills are oval green color, with markings Side 1: 93 and side 2: 7365. The new pharmacy dispensed in a regular perscription bottle. EVERY TIME I GET A REFILL IT IS A DIFFERENT PILL. IT HAS IN THE PAST BEEN GREEN, NOW IT IS A VERY PALE YELLOW.. 50 MG OF LOSARTAN??? LUP??? DO NOT KNOW WHAT THE LUP IS?? AND WHY THE CHANGE EACH TIME. ANYONE TAKE SOMETHING LIKE THIS. LAST TIME IT WAS GREEN AND SAID TEVA USA ## Losartan is a generic medication and once a medication is available for generic production, it is usually manufactured by quite a few different companies. The reason whatever pills you get from your pharmacy may change regularly is due to the fact that, when they need to reorder, they will order from whichever one of those companies is offering the cheapest price, at that time. This is how they keep costs as low as possible for their customers that may not have insurance and might need to pay cash for their prescri...

Is it safe to cut my losartan 50 mg in half when the pill is not scored? Pharmacy said I will not be getting even distribution with each half but I want to know your experiences... ## There shouldn't be a problem, part of pill manufacturing is making sure the medication is evenly suspended throughout, my doctor approves of my doing so and it's prescribed for me directly from cardiology for heart function. However, there are 50mg tablets that you can get that are scored and they should provide you with them, if your doctor writes your prescription as you needing to cut the tablets. There will always be a slight variance between doses, because no cut is absolutely precise, but it is usually not significant. I actually have one here, now, that is manufactured by Aurobindo Pharma, i...

I have a presciption for losartan and the pills look different from my previous prescription. The imprint is 572 and they are round pill and white. Are they Losartan? ## Given the description provided, I located the pill marked M 572 to be Albuterol Sulfate (4 mg). This white round pill has the letter M on the top half of the pill divided by a score line with 572 imprinted on the bottom half. The backside of the pill is blank with no score. For more information about this drug, please refer to the link below... If you have any more questions or concerns about this pill please post back and I will be happy to help you. ## A round, white tablet, with an M, a score line and then a 572 is NOT Losartan!! I think your pharmacy made an error. M 527 with that description contains 4mgs of Albute...

Hello, Got a new refill on my Losartan 25mg. which was a small green pill versus the normal oval white. I started the new ones yesterday and within a half hour of taking them I develope a headache. Stayed with me all day. Not a pounding debilitating one but just a constant nagging headache. Today I woke up fine but within a half hour of taking my pill I have a headache again. Same as yesterday. Not sure if this is being caused by something in the new pill "fillers" as they call them. Just know I never had this issue until I started the green losartan yesterday. Do I wait a few more days and risk that this is going to continue as a side effect? Not that it makes me unable to function but it is an irritation that I never had to deal with in the past on Losartan. Being the holiday ...
