EVERY TIME I GET A REFILL IT IS A DIFFERENT PILL. IT HAS IN THE PAST BEEN GREEN, NOW IT IS A VERY PALE YELLOW.. 50 MG OF LOSARTAN??? LUP??? DO NOT KNOW WHAT THE LUP IS?? AND WHY THE CHANGE EACH TIME. ANYONE TAKE SOMETHING LIKE THIS. LAST TIME IT WAS GREEN AND SAID TEVA USA ## Losartan is a generic medication and once a medication is available for generic production, it is usually manufactured by quite a few different companies. The reason whatever pills you get from your pharmacy may change regularly is due to the fact that, when they need to reorder, they will order from whichever one of those companies is offering the cheapest price, at that time. This is how they keep costs as low as possible for their customers that may not have insurance and might need to pay cash for their prescri...

I think that I missed my dose today at 1:30, but I'm not sure? Will I be ok to wait until tomorrow to take it? Also should I wait the entire 24 hours or just take it in the morning? ## Hello, Chad! How are you? What did you end up doing? It is always best to check with your doctor regarding what you should do in such a situation, however, in some instances, it is safer to take an extra dose, rather than risk skipping one. Since missing a dose could cause dangerous rebound elevations to your heart rate and blood pressure, which could lead to heat attack, or stroke, according to the AMA. Blood pressure 90/60 since June. Been on Losartin for 15 years. This year had knee replacement surgery for painful knee; pain for last 6 years. Now no pain and no stress full job, so dr. thinks my blood pressure has dropped because no more pain or stress; he lowered it to 50 mg from 100 mg. Still 60/90. Lowered it to 25.mg and still 60/90. Am eating more potassium every meal, weight is 160 at 5'5" age 65. Do you think no stress and no pain means no high blood pressure? Can I possibly go off of it? ## Hello, Susan! How are you doing? Is it safe to cut my losartan 50 mg in half when the pill is not scored? Pharmacy said I will not be getting even distribution with each half but I want to know your experiences... ## There shouldn't be a problem, part of pill manufacturing is making sure the medication is evenly suspended throughout, my doctor approves of my doing so and it's prescribed for me directly from cardiology for heart function. However, there are 50mg tablets that you can get that are scored and they should provide you with them, if your doctor writes your prescription as you needing to cut the tablets. There will always be a slight variance between doses, because no cut is absolutely precise, but it is usually not significant. I actually have one here, now, that is manufactured by Aurobindo Pharma, i...
