I have been taking a round white Lorazepam pill from Watson, now my refill is from Ranbaxy. Do they work as well? ## I have been taking Lorazepam .5 mg to helpme sleep at night from Watson Pharm. 60 pills for $21.XX. Now the refill is from Ranbaxy Phar. and is lik $5.XX, I am afraid to take it, never heard of them. I told the Pharmacy not to change the Phar. company. Has anyone had this problem or any side effects? ## Ranbaxy is the worst for lorazepam im sure you already accepted them and found out for your self. Next time stick to Watson only brand that i feel work's at 0.5mg but they do work well for such a small pill ## Since this is a generic medication, your pharmacy will usually switch which one they carry, depending on which manufacturer was offering the cheapest price at th...

Found this pill in my mother's Lorazepam bottle. It is different from all the others. The manufacturer is ACTAV, and markings on the pill are GG on one side, 16 on the other. Is this Lorazepam? ## The marking is actually GG 91 and yes, it contains 0.5mgs of Lorazepam, which is a Benzodiazepine that's most commonly used to treat anxiety and nervous disorders. Side effects may include: nausea, headache, irritability and drowsiness. Learn more: Is there anything else I can help with?

It’s a long story but traveling and needed medication for my anxiety. Have been off Lorazepam for a while but ended up in a situation where I needed to go local for some medication. Ended up with Mylan 2.5mg tabs. They came in a blister pack and seem labeled correctly. Also came in the original Mylan box. All seems okay but being from the US I’m accustomed to seeing the imprint. These have none. Only a score down the middle and white. Needless to say, I’m holding off on taking them. Not looking for a “fix”, looking for medication. First, I didn’t know and can’t find much documentation on Mylab creating a 2.5mg version. At least the website doesn’t mention it. The pack it came in lists the exp date to be in 2020 so it’s not old. The s...

I am trying to find out what kind of pill it is. It's white, oval/eliptical/capsule shaped pill with APO 5 on one side and simply scored on the other side. Tastes sweet, like most benzos. I was told it is Ativan, but I can not find it online, so maybe someone here knows what i'm talking about. ## Is the marking possibly APO 2? If so, then it does contain 2mgs of Lorazepam, which is a Benzodiazepine that's used to treat anxiety and nervous disorders. Learn more: ## I have the exact same but it does read 5 and looks like a lorazepam 2 for size/shape/material its made of, but I've never seen one. Poss diazepam 5mgs?

How long does it take to withdrawal from clonazepam 1/2 of 0.5 for over 10 years? I'm getting withdrawal symptoms and was put on lorazepam. ## Most will say your minimal clonazepam dose shouldn't cause a substantial withdrawal syndrome period. They would be wrong.the best and only advice one should give is to be medically tapered or detoxified. In a proper medical setting benzodiazepine withdrawal can be life threatening. Best of luck and God bless ## My major problem is that I'm taking it for chronic neck pain. What do I do about the reason I'm taking it for? I never had side effects not even when I went from the 0.5 to the .25. But the because I came across bad batches I realized I had a problem. I always had used the same brand because I am extra sensitive to medicati...

My doctor had upped my meds from 1mg of Ativan to suppose to be 5mg it is round yellow pill I think there might of been a mistake. Thank you ## Yes, I do believe some mistake has occured. Ativan, which contains the active ingredient Lorazepam is not available in a 5mg dosage. The tablets are only available in 0.5mgs, 1mg and 2mgs. There is a round, off-white tablet in the 0.5mg dosage, that has an M on one side and the numbers 321 on the other. A 2mg tablet that is slightly off-white with an R over 774 on one side. Another off-white 2mg has the marking of MP over 96. Do any of these match the markings on the tablet you have? If not, please post back with the markings and I can look it up for you, so see what it contains.

If I stop taking .5mg of xanax after only2 months wwhat's the risk of a possible seizure ## Slight ## It would ultimately be best to talk with your doctor about tapering first. But from what I've been reading, most people shouldn't have any severe problems after stopping xanax at that low of a dose. The National Anxiety Foundation states that cold turkey-ing 4mgs or more is notably what can cause moderate to severe withdrawal symptoms and/or convulsions in some cases. So in my honest opinion the risk for you is very slim. Does anyone else have advice on this from personal experience? ## 3 MG brought on a week of Hospitalization for me! ## I take 1 mg of Lorazepam Three times a day and I have gone off it no problem. Anyone know what this is?? Was told it's ritalin, but have never seen this kind. ## Hi Alana, Based on my research, the pill you have is actually identified as a 0.5mg Lorazepam tablet manufactured by Qualitest Pharmaceuticals. (Definitely not Ritalin). Ritalin contains the active ingredient Methylphenidate, which is used for ADHD and narcolepsy. Lorazepam on the other hand is a benzodiazepine class drug that treats anxiety. Hopefully that wasn't a friend who gave or sold that to you saying it's Ritalin or I would have a difficult time trusting them from this point forward. ## It's a 1 MG not .5
