dear doctor, my baby has been suffering from watery loose motion for the past 2-3 days. he is 1 year old and he is feeling restless and not feeding properly, but whenever he takes anything he vomits after sometime. Hi my daughter is 4 months old. Since last 10days she is having loose motions. We've done stool test 5days back & prescribed by a doctor for Zifi100 Dry Syrup. Since last 4days we've fed her with milk food and medicine (Zifi100) as advised by doctor howevr no improvement is observed. Today when i checked Zifi100 on web i realised that it is best remedies for few other disease but not for gastrointestinal infections. Is Zenflox supposed to be used before food or after food? My baby girl is 3 years old and has had two days of loose motion. Went to the doctor today and she prescribed zenflox with econorm. i m suff from loose motion and constipation same from 3days. ## Zenflox-OZ contains the active ingredients Ofloxacin and Ornidazole, it is an antibiotic and it can cause diarrhea as a side effect. we consulted doctor and changed his formula milk to Isomil and didnt give any fibre based milk like cerelac, ragi etc for a week. He is normal in a week. after 15 days he again having motions (not very loose) 8 to 10 times a day. please provide some advice what needs to be done in order to reduce his motion count. ## Hi Chandu! Are you talking about diarrhea? If you are, some babies can be lactose intolerant just as adults can be. That means they can't drink milk products that contain lactose. My son had that problem when he was a baby . But then again, sometimes babies will move their bowels more than others. I would talk to the pediatrician. ## P.s. Are you breast feeding at all?
