When moving to a new area and requiring those types of medications for long-term chronic pain, you're best bet would be to establish a relationship in the new area with a PCP, then have them refer you to a pain management specialist. I was labeled with panic disorder about three years ago. I've had Klonopin prescribed while I was on suboxone and alto it helped a little tiny bit, it was not nearly enough. I was taking two mg three times daily. Along with 20 mg suboxone daily. That's two and a half pills. I panic for no good reason. My chest is always hurting and heavy and I can't ever catch my breath. I have to try and yawn to catch my breath bit the yawn had to be a true yawn our it jUst makes it wiser. I'm panicking daily all day and night. I want to rip my hair out. This is not fair. I am looking for a dr. in Nassau county that will prescribe 30 mg. oxy. I broke my back and had a fusion, and I still have to have one more fusion... yet my dr. will only prescribe 15 mg. I actually fractured one of the vertebra. I also rupture two disc, and had two more that herniated and hit my spinal cord and had to have emergency surgery bc I was temporarily paralyzed, yet they won't prescribe 30 mg. bc of all the damn crack heads out there.
