Pink pill oblong shape cut in half with markings of 48 on one side. Pill is oblong and pink but is cut in half and has numbers 48 on back and it's smooth on other side ## Hello, Justin! How are you? It might be an 800mg Metaxalone tablet that's manufactured by Sandoz Pharmaceuticals, the full marking on it is E448. The FDA classifies it as a muscle relaxant and lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, and dry mouth. There may be other possible matches, as well. I'll keep looking and post back, if I find more. Does anyone else have any ideas of what this might be?

blue round ## 4853 V is 5 mg Oxybutynin ## This is a generic for Ditropan to control overactive bladder. ## thank you. i have another pill mylan 457 white round. ## Ellen, Mylan 457 is 1 mg Lorazepam (generic for Ativan). It is used to treat anxiety and nervousness. ## Abe is correct with his ID, these types of pills are Benzodiazepines similar to Xanax or Valium. ## oxybutynin is marked M with an O5 underneath it and a lighter blue than oxycontin. i have a prescription for it, so butynin, so unless i've been given the wrong pill by the pharmacy for two years, you're wrong. ## if any of you would ever TRY the 4853 v, it is NOT oxycotin. it is for bladder control. If you are getting prescribed that for pain and get 60 of them then your lying. No one is that stupid.

I am reading everywhere that the color should be orangish, and have seen pics online of them being orangish. The ones I have are more off white, but no where near orange. I also read one comment on here saying these are fakes. The V and the 4829 are facing same side up, and the pill looks exactly the same as found online. I feel a little droopy after taking a few, but feels weaker than other percs. Please help!!! ## Hello, Percy! How are you? Qualitest lists them as being yellow, though I admit they do look more orange. Are sure you're reading the marking correctly? I have this pill. I'm not reading it upside down. It has no manufacturer marks. It just has the letters or numbers 4847 and that's all. ## What pill shape oval size and the inprint of 4847 what are they and what are they called ## Hello Doug, Unfortunately after extensive research nothing comes up for a pill with the imprint 4847. I know that you said you weren't reading it upside down but just in case I found a white oblong pill imprinted with L484 that is reportedly identified as Acetaminophen (500mgs) which is a store brand or generic Extra Strength Tylenol. This would be an exact match to your description but only if read upside down. If you are absolutely sure that you are reading it right side up it may even be a good idea to take it into a local pharmacy and see if th...

After I had my tubes tied I had problems with my periods. My doctor put me on lo loestrin and I took it with no problems for years. Almost 3 months ago at 48 years old, I decided to stop taking them. Since then, I have had very tender breasts, mild hot flashes and some cramping but no period. I realize these could be typical side effects from stopping those hormones but with no period for 3 months at 48, could this be perimenopause? ## Hello, Deb! How are you? Yes, it could be either, or, perhaps even both. Perimenopause can start as early as 35, according to the NIH. I started dealing with issues from it at 42, so the past few years have been rather adventurous. The hot flashes cause me to lean towards it being peri, but only your doctor could say for sure. If that is the case, other s...

What is this used for? How long can it be used before trying something else? ## Hello, Ann! How are you? I'm sorry, but from the information you've listed, I can't tell you anything about this product, other than that it's used topically to treat pain, hence the musculo and ortho. However, without knowing the actual ingredients, I can't tell you more. The cmp stands for compounded, meaning that this is something specially created for you, according to your doctor's orders, by a speciality compounding pharmacy. However, there is no universal list of ingredients that I can refer to, it can vary from area to area and from doctor to doctor. Are there any other details listed?

I have some PALE YELLOW, NOT Orange, PALE YELLOW colored V4829's.... can someone who is not color blind, as there is a BIG difference to what the color 'should be' and what it visually looks like on the internet.... tell me if these are real? ~ it's 'listed' as being yellow in color but they're CLEARLY more orange, in all the images I've looked at... Also, if they can vary in color but are the same strength, someone needs to clarify that... yellow is yellow.... orange is orange!! ~ ridiculous! ## You are correct, according to the pictures from the manufacturer, it does look more like dark yellow, or orange. Im wandering if the pill v 4829 comes in more than one color. Ive gotten then in past they were yellow orangish. I jus got sum that are a lighter yellow than usual?? ## Hello, Rich! How are you? I'm sorry, but I've been unable to find any information on this, the databases I've searched just list it as being yellow and nothing more specific. As long as they were obtained through a licensed U.S. pharmacy, then there most likely isn't anything to worry about. Color variations sometimes occur due to differences in the manufacturing process. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. We bought a package of OTC cold medicine, and somehow we lost the box. It was a multipack, daytime and nighttime. One set is oblong and blue with 44 485, the other is small round and red with 44 453. My husband is at work and wants to take one, but he is a roofer and cannot get drowsy. Can anyone tell me which is which? ## The blue on with the 44 485 on it contains 10mgs of Phenylephrine and 25mgs of Diphenyhydramine, so it is the nighttime one, because the Diphenyhydramine causes drowsiness. The red one, with the 44 453 only contains 10mgs of Phenyelphrine, a decongestant, so it is the daytime pill. Are there any other comments or questions?

Purbac 480 - My son is using Purbac 480, I need to know if it can cause damage to his liver, as he needs to take it for a long time. Recently I noticed that his color changed to yellow, we did a bloodtest and there were no liver damage on anything else. ## There has actually been some concern about using Purbac (Sulfamethoxazole + Trimethoprim), since it has been associated with both frequent mild allergic reactions and serious adverse effects, including Stevens-Johnson syndrome, myelosuppression, mydriasis, agranulocytosis, and severe liver damage (cholestatic hepatosis, hepatitis, liver necrosis, and fulminant liver failure). That said, from my perspective, I wouldn't suggest taking this long term if your son doesn't "have to" or if he can find another alternative anti...
