It is classified as a flavonoid. It is believed, but as I said, not scientifically proven, that these substances have a protective effect on the liver. Thus, you shouldn't solely count on it to treat, cure or prevent any liver disease. I am diagnosed of having a non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. And my doctor prescribed me with a supplement that milk thistle is the main ingredient but that certain brand is difficult to find or not available in many pharmacies. Can I take LIVERAIDE capsule as other alternative? And what is the right dosage for me? I am a female and 45 years of age. ## TAKE GODEX DS AND VIT.
