I had anal cancer. After treatments I suffered with pain in the anal area only. Four months later the pain doctor prescribed Lyrica. After one month I had trouble walking the underneath of my feet hurt. Then my right hand would not close and my fingers would not bend and caused severe pain. My whole body now aches like I was 100 yeas old. Sometimes I can't even pick up a piece of paper. I have mentioned all my aches and memory loss, blurred vision with him. Now he says I have developed fybromalgia and osteo arthritis because of the trauma of my cancer treatments. The more that I look back I did not have any of those symtoms previous to taking Lyrica I will be my own advocate. I will slowly get off this drug. I lost some of my youth and life with this drug they need to seriously look...

hello and first off thank you to anyone who wants to help ..I live in west TN and I an 47 .I have Arthritis, osteo and rhumitiod ,fibromyalgia,and a rare Ankylosing Spondolyis .have been in pain for about 10 years..but servere pain about the last 5.. Hi there I'm allergic to my fiancées Siberian husky... I was wondering from others who have done this or something close if it is ok ? i know allot of people go to sleep and don't wake up after taking benzos with methadone. I need help! My father was diagnosed with small cell lung cancer a few months back! They prescribed him hydrocodone 10/325mg! He now has begun to have some sort of mental status change because of the effects of the chemo on his body! He thinks he's suppose to be getting three hydrocodones at a time, and even with showing him the bottle and reassuring him he's not , he becomes very angry/agitated saying we are trying to kill him and that my step mom don't care and just wants money etc and that he's divorcing her! My story isn't much different from much different from other pain situations I see on here. I Had an amazing family doctor by my area in south Sacramemto, California and he retired the 1st of January 2015. I'm trying to find a old fashioned, liberal, understanding doctor that I can make an appointment with to discuss my story and hopefully bring my quality of life back to par. Have been on hydrocodone 10 mg by 325 Ace 10/325 for almost 11 years and saw a great nurse practitioner I was referred too. Seriously my mind and body couldn't feel a thing about this med even though i was taking 10mg or more with many different types of combos such as other kinds of benzos..... I think my body couldn't adjust to any... Once a snake bit me and only my right leg and left leg felt a dim paralysis effect. I think that's it from my body... Lifeless. Is it ok to take these together? ## It is okay to do so, as long as your doctor has told you take them all. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, increased risk of bleeding and easy bruising. I started on Pristiq ER 50mg and also Lipitor 10mg a month ago and saw the doctor at that time. She listened to my heart rate which was fine. The Pristiq has been working very well and I have even lost 5 pounds; had gained about 40 pounds on Cymbalta. So about a week and a half ago I noticed that my pulse rate was irregular which could have started before I noticed it. I got very light-headed at work. I went to ER the other night and my heart rhythm was going in and out of bigeminy which is a normal beat followed by a premature ventricular beat. I just wore a Holter Monitor for 24 hours. Hi, I am from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. My daughter (10 years) is abnormal (Cerebral Pulsy) and in the bed. She can not move or talk except listening. Most of the time, she used to cry. We consulted the Doctor who prescribed Revotril Drop and asked to give her 3 drops in the night. It worked well as she slept peacefully during the night whenever she took this drops. However, now the medicine is out of stock in Jeddah and could not get it. I tried other countries like Egypt, Dubai..etc. but they need prescription from the same country to get it. My son recently started taking Addoral, and I'm noticing slight behavioral changes while taking 10 mg twice a day -- nothing major, just seems more pensive and mellow. While listening to techno music, he asked me to sit in our garage, look to the stars and ponder if there's life out there... I'm curious -- is this typical, and okay? What kind of behavioral changes are typical for this drug? ## It can vary from person to person, but that's really what this medication is intended to do for ADHD patients….IE: mellow them out. I am taking oxycodo-APAP 10-325 ,a generic for Percocet. It is an oval shape withM523 on one side and 10/325 on the other. My Dr. said I could split the pill if it is too strong. But there is no score line. Can or should this pill be spit to receive half the dosage? ## The best advice I can give is to listen to what your doctor said. From personal experience when there was no score line on a pill I would still cut in half if it was too strong and simply take half the dose. I don't think you should worry if your doctor gave you the ok to do so. After splitting the pill in half, just be sure to follow your doctors orders on when to take the pill every so many hours.

I use to take 10-325 of Percocet 5 times a day. My new doctor lowered the dosage to 3times a day. Saying I was takin too much. I had bad withdrawal and ended up in the hospital. I now take 3 10-325 along with 500mg of tyenol to control my pain. Even with that amount I'm still in a lot of pain. What should i do, I feel like my doctor is not listening to me. I feel the only reason he lower the dosage was because the CDC is being hard on them. I'm in pain all day long. ## The CDC is the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, they do not regulate drugs, or prescription medications. Listen People I have been taking Xanax for over ten years, and not once did I think there was difference in the pills, until I got these new (for almost two years now), which all I can say is I woke up in jail!! With that being said I have also done all the different sizes and shapes, and I think pretty much how you feel is all in your head! I mean if you been taking three "bars" a day for 10 years, and you do not withdrawal from this certain medication then you have got your alprazolam in you! ## Why did you go to jail and were you there long? I saw a new PM doctor yesterday. He was extremely nice as far as his personality. But when it came to the medications, he just wouldn't listen. I have a very low tolerance for strong pain meds. The strongest I can go is a Lortab 10/500 (which I've been on since 2005 successfully). Anything above that makes me sick or euphoric along with other challenging side effects. The only side effect from the Lortab I dealt with was dry mouth. No biggy. This new doctor doesn't believe in the short acting medications as a primary source of pain relief.
