Lisinopril Vs Losartan

My doctor took me off Lisinopril 10 MG Tab and put me on Losartan 50-12.5MG Tab because my potassium was too high. Looking at the containers each came in, I see that they both have potassium in them. How is it helping to switch me from one to the other except that the Losartan costs more? I have not been able to find out how much potassium is in each drug. ## These medications don't actually contain potassium, the listing as Losartan Potassium, just designates the precise chemical salt that the drug is derived from, not that it contains potassium in the actual sense.
