It is a medication used to lower high blood pressure with an added compoent HCTZ to rid the body of extra fluid. these black bumps appered where i noticed a couple of days ago . i have a metalaic taste food taste terriable. i take other meds too. gabapentin 3 times a day3oomg,metformin 1000mg 2 times a day. lisinopril hctz 10/12.5mg. simvastatin 20mg . all since since 4/24/12. shouild i see my doctor? ## I haven't come across any specific details stating whether or not it can cause mouth sores, but Omeprazole is known to cause hives, rashes, itching, and swelling of the face, throat, tongue, & lips.
