I Found a blottle that read HYDROCODOE/APAP ELX PMA I was just curious as to how strong it was, it's yellow..If that matters any. ## I'm thinking the "ELX" probably stands for Elixir, which is liquid. And from what I could gather, Hydrocodone Bitartrate + Acetaminophen Oral Solutions come in dosages of: 7.5 mg/500 mg per 15 mL. I noticed that this dosage has yellow dye in it as well if that helps: "In addition, the liquid contains the following inactive ingredients: ammoniated glyyerrhizin, dibasic sodium phosphate, citric acid, ethyl maltol, polyethylene glycol, propylene glycol, purified water, saccharin sodium, sodium citrate, sodium benzoate, sodium gluconate, sorbitol solution, with D&C Yellow No. 10 and FD&C Yellow No. 6 as coloring, and natural and art...

I have a tropical flavored hydrocodone-apap liquid but it doesn't say the strength?!! How much wud I need to take to equal 1 yellow 10/325 norco? It says take 1 teaspoon every 4-6 hrs for cough. Or am I way off and the whole bottle won't equal 1? Lol ## The bottle should have the amount of medication in 5 cc's on the bottle. Are there any numbers on the bottle after the name of the medication ? ## If it's hydrocodone/acetaminophen sol, it's 7.5/325 per 15 ml meaning 7.5 mgs hydrocodone, 325 Tylenol if it's the new sol, older formula has 500mg acetaminophen(Tylenol) so you would need 20ml to get 10mg. Be careful of Tylenol tho. New recommended dose is 3000mg per day. Now if its cough syrup, it's tussinex , is it super thick? That's 10mg hydrocodone per 5 m...

I have several hydroc/apap prescriptions (syrup), and I can't remember if they are cough suppressants or not. I don't want to take it for my back pain if it is a cough syrup. I can't swallow pills, so I get the syrup form, and I don't want to take a cough syrup. The liquid is yellowish. Can anyone help me decipher the label? What does ELXQUAL mean? Also, how strong is one teaspoon...what pill strength would you compare it to. ## Hydrocodone with APAP (Acetaminophen) is used to treat both pain, and as a cough suppressant.
