Ive been on Fentanyl patches 200mcg for 10 years I think I need a stronger type of fentanyl. NOTHING else works. I use no other types off oills and when I have tried nothing works I have a cool doctor but he wants me to go to pain management to deal with this help $$$$but not doc ## Where are you ? ## Fentanyl is the strongest narcotic for pain that is on the market, there aren't any stronger options for you. Your doctor is right, pain management is probably going to be your best bet, as they have better training as to what combination of medications, or what other therapies, might help someone in your situation. Learn more Fentanyl details here. Does anyone else have any suggestions to add? ## Wow, where do you live? N.Y. laws are so strict with narcotics. Mothers across L.I. and N...

How are you? Oxynorm contains the active ingredient Oxycodone, so you may experience some withdrawal effects, such as chills, fever, diarrhea, nausea, dizziness and rebound pain. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Hi thanks for your help it has been three days since I last had any oxynorm, I haven't had any withdrawal symptoms yet will it still happen Dean

what is the difference between liquid and jelly types ## I'am on 75 mcg of fentanyl patch jelly form. I found when i used the other fentanyl patches with the glue all over them i would break out from the glue. So what is the difference between the patches and do they work as well. I was told to use a steroid nasal spray under the patch before applying it, but everyone i've asked has never heard of using the spray before applying patch. So i've decided to just stay with the jelly form. Has anyone else had this problem and do the patches work the same jelly patches versus the ones with glue all over them. I'm still not getting much relief anyway, i've had chronic pain for some time and i'm only 52 but due to all my health problems i really don't have a life any...

How Many 5 Mg Vicodin Tablets Are In 1 Pint Of Liquid ## there are 480 ml in a pint so if your dose recommendation is 10ml for a 7.5/750 then you would have the equal of 48 lortab 7.5's (the liquid I received for base of tongue cancer treatment was very high in acetaminophen for some reason). My dose was 10ml every 2 hours (plus I was using 350 mcg of Fentanyl patches!)

I was in surgical intensive care for 5 days. The complaint was diverticulitis. My condition was potentially very serious but my vitals were coming back close to normal. I was kept in surgical ICU in the event the numbers changed which would require immediate surgery. The attack occurred at home shortly before I was to leave for work. It felt like someone had driven a knife into my gut and it brought me to my knees and eventually totally prone on the floor. In ICU the pain relieving drug that was given to me was Fentanyl. They would give it to me on request at intervals of one hour .. sometimes less if requested. I could see that there was about 1 CM length of liquid in the smallish hypo syringe. The effect was immediate. The pain subsided dramatically. When taken to a regular hospital b...

Iv been on the Fentanyl patch 50 mg for about two yrs, use to be be on 150 mg, but didn't want to be on such a high dose , also on percoset10-325. My question is , I wear the patch on my upper arm, sometimes the sight itches, well about 20 mins ago ,the site itched and I guessed I itched it to hard, before I knew it the liquid was all over my arm and hands. I know how serious this medication can be , I'm worried about and over dose. It can sink in the skin and is a strong medication. I did wash my arm and hands with soap and water right after, just scared about an over dose. Anyone have this happen to them ??? ## Hello, Cookie! How are you doing? Please be careful scratching in the future, to prevent it happening, again. However, it isn't like that you absorbed much to put y...

I was on liquid Methadone for chronic pain for years and while on waiting list to switch to a new Pain center, I was weaning off methadone rapidly at 2mgs a day from 120 to 38mg. I was also on 20 to 40 mgs a day oxycodone for breakthrough pain. Now, last month, my new doc put me on 25mcg/h patch. Yesterday, he informed me that I am now ONLY getting pain management from him (understandable) and cut me off and did not prescribe any more oxycodone and I was to stop at 38mgs methadone. Bottom line, will a 50mcg/h patch I started today be enough for my pain and withdrawals? I am scared. ## Did you discuss your concerns with him? The Fentanyl is a very strong narcotic, over 80 times stronger than Morphine actually, but while it can handle pain very well, you may still experience some breakthr...

my Dr has suggested that I cut Fentanyl 12.5 patches in half to reduce dosage and eventually stop using them, I have been using them for about three years/3.5yrs But I am confused as the leaflet says not to cut them. I would like to stop using them and this has been his only advice. ## Hello, Dewi! How are you? It depends on the type of patch, it seems there are some that can be safely cut, but it would be best to ask your pharmacist, before doing so, to be sure. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## There are differnt types of patches some have a liquid dispencing method and would not ...

Looking for a doctor in Delaware/PA for pain management of severe migraine headaches who will prescribe oxycodone liquid. Have been to migraine clinics all over the country and tried Fentyl patch, Botox injections, triptan medications, morphine, diladid, with no relief for chronic dibiltating migraines. ## Has your doctor done any checking to see what's causing your migraines? The reason I'm asking is because Fentanyl is the strongest opiate available, so if it didn't help, it is unlikely that Oxycodone will help, regardless of the form its in. The FDA warns that opiate medications carry the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. Recently the Duragesic patch I have been using has been changes from what used to look like a liquid and now is just a small flat patch. With the previous design I was able to walk and do things. Now, even though I have had the dosage increased, I am in constant pain and rarely get out of bed. I am young so this concerns me. I am trying to find out if any company still manufactures this old design. Thank you for any help. ## Duragesic contains the active ingredient Fentanyl, this is a very powerful narcotic used to treat severe, chronic pain. As to the design, it may just be that your pharmacy had a generic from a different manufacturer and their formulation just doesn't work as well for you. Have you tried asking if they still have or can get the ones from the prior manufacturer? Y...
