some times iam suffering for breathing problem,to day i went hospital......the doctor suggested me use "LIPICURE-10" for one month.....is there any side effect from this medicine....? and also iam dabitic since 2003.My cholestral level -187,HDL-39,LDL-123,Triglycerides-161.VLDL-32 And my Glycosylated Hemoglobin (HbA1C) is 6.7%.So pl. give advise can i use the "LIPI CURE-10". ## What did the doctor say was causing the breathing problem? Lipicure contains the active ingredient Atorvastatin, which is used to help lower cholesterol and it's really not going to do anything to immediately help with a breathing problem. If so, it doesn't really change the side effects that I listed in my previous post, but it can make you experience a lot more of them and in much worse severity. My wife, 59 years old, is suffering from High Blood Pressure & Diebities. Her investigation report is as under: Total Serum Cholestrol ........ 248mg Serum TRI Glycerides .......... 175mg HDL ........ 45mg VLDL ......... 35mg LDL ........ 168mg Serum Urea (DAM) .......... 38mg Blood Sugar - Fasting ..... 110mg - P.P ...... 220mg Blood pressure .....154/90 To control blood pressure, the doctor has prescribed: Repalol, Pinom 20mg & calchek 5mg To control the blood sugar , prescribed medicines are- Zoryl M2 (b.d.),Pioz 15mg (O.D.) To control cholestrol- One doctor has advised Lipicure 10mg while the other has prescribed Rosumac 20mg daily. The side effects of these two medicines has put me into anxiety. Pl. advice me what would be appropriate medicine to control cholestrol.

My Cholesterol was 251 / LDL190 / Triglycerides 116/ HDL 37 & VLDL 23. 10 days after that I reduced my weight by 3 KG and my Dr. advised me to take Lipicure 10mg. I am 40 years old female. I am taking nitrocontin 6.4, Ranozex 500 mg and lipicure 40mg after angioplasty for 90-95% blockage in all the three arteries for last one month. I am having constipation and severe hair loss almost baldness. I also am experiencing blurred vision.May I know are these the side effects of these medicines. I had open heart surgery in 2006 and taking Carca 6.25 morning & Night, Clavix As75 afternoon and Lipicure-20 mg, Cardace 10 mg in the night. Now I am given TAZLOC -40. Telmisartan tablets IP 40 mg instead of Cardace-10 mg to avoid cough at times. ## Hello, Thiyagarajan! How are you doing? If your doctor prescribed them, because they felt it wouldn't cause the dry cough, then the best thing to do would be to try them and see how they work for you. Is it safe? ## Your iron being low is far more dangerous than undergoing to treatments to rectify the problem, according to the NIH. However, you should be made aware that some side effects may persist for the rest of your life, such as headaches and joint pain. What other medications do you take? Some of them may be contributing to the problem. ## I am presently on Cardace 2.5 mg + Cardivas 6.25 + HCQS 200 + Dytor 10 + Lipicure 20 + Ecosprin 75 along with meds for Diabetes. I also take a supplement called One a Day and Folic Acid.

Is to safe to take Ecospirin 10 mg for a long time. I am a heart patient having pumping rate is low. ## What has your doctor advised? Ecosprin contains Aspirin and it is often given to cardiac patients, because of its blood thinning properties, since thinning the blood can help improve cardiac function. One of my relatives has been prescribed above combination of two drugs but he is having terrible skin itching problem . Does it relate to any drug combination . He also takes eltroxin ## I m 50 yrs now, a diabetic from 23 yrs, from the age of 27; on oral medicine for 12 yrs and gradually now on both, i.e Lantus 30 U + H. Mixtard 28 &16 U + Galvas met 50/500. I am also taking Tazloc 40 + Amlovas (2.5/12.5) each OD for Cholestrol as Also Lipicure 20 H/s. The above problems are in moderate control BUT In last few years I m badly effected by ED problem. What should I take for (i) Diabetes (ii) BP (iii) Cholestrol and last but not least (iv) ED specially something effective for ED as I being shy hesitate to consult doctor in OPD and could not affort Private Doctor.
