I had a cold but now I have lingering chest congestion that builds up in lumps in my throat (thick slimy) and gags, choke, and make me feel like its drowning me when I am sleeping - I have to jump up out of bed and cough ad spit it out. This is different from regular cold and congestion which was usually watery. I have been using doxycycline for the past six years to treat acne. I am worried that if I stop taking doxycycline my acne will flare up again. I have tried cold turkey once and within a week my acne became a real problem. I have been trying to reduce my daily intake. Currently I take 1 50 mg tablet every other day. My acne is still lingering around, but the drug seems to help prevent large pimples from forming. I have really oily skin, and I swear a lot when exercising. I think I am just an acne prone person. Im 29 years old. I eat healthy. I dont drink or smoke. I stay up late a lot due to work and school. I would like to reach my goal of being acne free because it would help my self esteem. Took bactrim for l-1/2 days. Blood sugar plummetted, severe GI problems, anxiety through the roof! Immediately stopped taking. This was 3 months ago. Side effects continue although slowly improving. Am taking baby steps toward recovering from this awful, poisonous drug. I tapered off gabapentin two weeks ago but still feel stoned and have no get up n go. Lots of gas still as well. Hi! I went on Amox-Clav because of swollen lymph nodes, but no diagnosis as to why they were swollen. I was on a 7 day course. I had nausea, diarrhea, anxiety, palpitations, low back pain and loss of appetite while on the drug. I finished the course and started to feel better. Smz Tmp DS 800 160 was prescribed along with steroids to treat a mold infection I had in my sinuses. I was on Metronidazole for 7 days & finished it 3 days ago. I ended up at the ER thinking I was having a heart attack. So I didn't take the last two pills of my dose pack.
