The pills were for my cat via the vet. The pills have break lines to break in half or 1/4 (this is the cross). In the upper left of the cross is a D. In the lower right of the cross is a 8. There are all kinds of websites that dont recognize a D and 8. ## The reason they can't identify it for you is because this is a veterinary medication. Prescription medication databases only log medications for human use, the FDA does not require imprints to be logged for medications that are manufactured solely for animal use. The pill in question is called Drontal, it contains the active ingredients praziquantel and pyrantel, it used to treat or prevent several types of worms in cats. Is there anything else I can help with? ## You nailed it Verwon ! Remembering back... yes I did go through a de...

small light yellow pill, with a raised V on one side only. What is it? Found it in my mother in laws pill box, and she doesn't know what it is. Not sure if she should be taking it or not. Thanks! ## It's never a good idea to take anything you can't identify. This imprint is kind of vague, which makes me suspect that it is probably and over the counter product. In this case, I've seen a similar imprint on Vivarin and its generics/store brands. It contains caffeine and is used as an alertness aid. Does anyone else have any ideas?

Found large light yellow oblong pill in daughters room. I-MR on one side and scored on the other. Any help? ## Hello, Uncle Snook! How are you? I understand your concern. Unfortunately, so far, no one has been able to positively identify these tablets. Several people have reported placing orders and receiving these tablets, but the main issue is that they ordered different medications, one person ordered Oxycodone, another person ordered Hydrocodone and etc. (The FDA classifies these medications as narcotic analgesics, so they have the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.) So, it appears that there's a company that may be scamming people and we may never find out exactly what these tablets contai...

large yeloow oblong or oval pill with a 0 with a line through iy loke the do not signs. ## Hi Tara, Unfortunately, based on the description provided, this pill isn't listed in the prescription drug databases, so I can't find any information on it. Did you possibly find this pill somewhere or obtain it from a friend? I don't think this pill was manufactured in the U.S., as it has no letter or number imprints along with the circle. In all the U.S. drug databases, you can only search by letters and/or numbers, and not by the type of symbol it has. U.S. law requires that all prescription drugs have unique letters or numbers (sometimes in addition to a logo of some kind) imprinted on the tablets or capsules so the medication can be identified by manufacturer, substance and dosage...
