My husband is on lexamil 20mg, one a day.. I'm on lexamil 10mg for 5 days now and I'm feeling terrible! I've got 24/7 nausea. The one day I had diarrhea and the next day everything was blurry the whole day and I was so dizzy, I hallucinated. I'm sleeping all the time, I shake a lot as well. They say it will go on for 3 weeks until it actually works. I drank on one day more than 7 nausea pills and nothing works. ## Hello, Hayley! How are you? The nausea, diarrhea and dizziness can be normal side effects, as listed by the FDA, however, they sound very severe and this medication shouldn't make you hallucinate. Hi, I've just started taking Lexamil 10mg 2 days ago, for the first time. I found that it made me extremely sleepy and slowed my movements as well slurring speech and it feels as though I'm on a high. I didn't take it today and opted to rather take it at night. Would it still help the way it should if I take it at night? My Dr also said that it would make me gain weight (which I am happy about) but it seems to have decreased my appetite and I actually don't feel hungry. Am almost weaned off of Lexamil 10mg but now I am desperate to lose the weight that I gained whilst on the drug. Any suggestions to kick start the weight loss would be greatly appreciated. When I'd gained some weight after being on a similar medication for years, I started walking and the weight fell off very fast. I still walk everywhere I can, it's great exercise. Hi! I am on lexamil 5 mg daily for a week before that wellbutrin 150 mg and 5 mg lexamil for 4 weeks before that wellbutrin 300 mg for 2 years. Weaning from the Wellbutrin because dr feels that it increases my anxiety, which is my main problem. Can these meds lead to alcohol blackouts? One minute fine to next minute waking up with memory loss. My memory is really bad on day to day basis. I start take Lexamil 3 days ago. I start from 5 mg dose. I'm not feeling well, but is short time-I know. After 7 days I will start take 10 mg. Hello, I've just started taking Lexam 10 escitalopram. I'm a 22 year old female being treated for depression/anxiety. I'm wondering if anyone else who has taken Lexam has experienced dilated pupils? My pupils are huge and have not died down. I've only been on it for 2 days and I had quite a bad headache for an hour or two, which has now completely gone. Such side effects should wear off in a few weeks, once his body gets used to the medication. Have been on lexam 9mths & now quitting. Took 1/2 tab (5mg) every 2nd day for 1/52 then 1/2 tab & then stopped altogether. Head feels light, spinning & weird. How long will this last for till I'm able to function properly? ## re Lexam withdrawal regime. My doctor stressed to withdraw gradually- no details offered. Lexam web site advises to take 1-2 weeks. I reduced gradually over 10 days & still had severe withdrawal symptoms. My chemist advised take at least 3 weeks-he was right!

Hi, I have been on Lexamil 10mg for 2 years and then about a hear ago my dr increased the dosage to 20mg, which I took for 6 months. However I have stop taking the meds approx 6 months ago. I am a very bad pill drinker and then to forr. I feel that I struggle more with anxiaty than depression and rather preferred Azor/Xanor SR. Would you recommend me going back oono Lexamil?
