She is 8 years old ## um yes i take lexapro since i was 15 in it should help her alot and i am now going on 17 ## my friends taken it since he was 9 and has never had a bad experience with it. as long as her doctor has taken the correct actions in diagnosing it she'll be ok. ## My research and the Doctor that treated my child, Celexa has been found to be the best for children under 18yr.

It is really really sad when the side effects of the drug overpower it's intended use. I think the med you are talking about is called Lexapro - I would read about it.
