my mother had operation for tumor in her head before 9 mnths ago. Doctor giving levipil750 for a day twice. she continued 3 mnths then she stopped. Right now she is gud but we are visited that doctor for check up he told to us use levipil tablets again 6mnths. what is the use of levipills? is there any side effects if she continued long tima?

I am taking Levipil 750 since 2 years.I am always feeling drowsy,get angry immediately,forget things,don't feel hungry ,and loss of hair also.Are these the sympoms of this medicine.I am also taking Encorate Chrono 300 with it. ## My father, Mr. Kanchan Datta, an epilepsy patient is taking LEVIPIL750 and tetrafol plus for last 9 months. Can he continue tetrafol plus with LEVIPIL750? Actually doctor which we prescribed told him to continue it for 3 months. But my father, Kanchan Datta wants it to continue more. Is he doing correct? Moreover his weight increasing too much ND has short temper and his anger has been increased? So I will be highly obliged if any good neurologist give me suggestions?

I have seizure from 2005 and I am taking levipil 750mg at night from past 3 years as per doctor's advice.Is there any side effects?What are the precautions to be taken at the time of pregnancy. ## After taking Levipil 750 mg, Did u find any changes in your body? i m taking levipil 250 nd my neurologist suggested me to take levipil250 for 2 weeks and then start a levipil 500 for 2 weeks and after taking these tablets he suggested me to continue start levipil 750 for a long time( atleast 2 to 3 years ).some people says levipil will gives a lot of fat on your body, i plz tell me what are the sidi effects of levipil. ## Levipil contains the active ingredient Levetiracetam, it is an antiseizure medication and the side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, weakness and loss of appetite. i am using Valprole 300 from last 16 years. I feel my weight is increase and became steady at 63 to 65 kg and always feel sleepy. But after using 16 years suddenly i feel some heavy sharp pain in my upper side of Stomach and hair loss and after diagnosis it found that i have some stone in my GalBalder, stone removed but doctor advised me to stop my medicine Valprole and they suggest me levipil but starting levipil at present I have disgusted problem because its effecting my liver and I am continue in the cage of jaundice. My mother has a lesion in her left basifrontal lobe which is the most probable cause for the Generalised Tonic Clonic Seizures she's been having since May 2013. The doctor had suggested taking Levipil 500 twice daily. The thing is there has been no improvement since and she still gets seizures. A few days back she had a very severe life threatening attack after which the doctor has increased the dosage to Levipil 500 in the moning and Levipil 750 in the night along with an additional drug Encorate Chrono (300 in the morning and 500 in the night). I'm taking Valproate Sodium 300 mg BD and Levipil 500 mg in the morning and 750 mg in the evening. However it is causing me to gain weight... Please tell me how to control my weight? ## Weight gain can be a normal side effect of these medications, according to the NIH. You may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache, and mood swings. I have seizer and started taking Levipil 500 mg and then 750 mg and know I am taking Levipil 1gm. Is it because my chances of seizer is more or their could be some other reason? ## You mean your doctor has slowly raised the dosage? It is completely normal to do that with a seizure medication, they are usually tapered up slowly, to allow your body to adjust and to find the dosage that will help control your seizures to prevent your having more of them. After seizure I m on levipil 750mg for 2 years and 1 and half years on levipil 500mg I am well my reports are also normal but doctor wants to give medicine for 2 years more should I take medicine or gradually decreases it's amount and then stops it by proper excereise I m taking steam inhalation also

i am on Levipil 500 + lamitor 200 in the morning and lepil 750 + lamitor 200 in the evening. Today at noon i felt a little light headed and tried to recall if i had my pills in the morning.. but wasn't able to remember... so just to be on the safer side i took the morning dose immediately. I would like to know if it would cause any problem if i've already had my pills in the morning?? will it result in drug overdose?
