I have been taking neurontin for 3 mnths with no side effects but the other day I had citra soda and was sick the following a.m with the runs and nausea! I hadn't eaten anything out of the ordinary but felf ill at the thought of eating anything I had eaten the day before. Stomach cramps and lethargy? I seem to recall that you can't mix neurontin with antacid meds?? ## The reason for the warning about taking antacids with Neurontin is due to the fact that it can cause your body to absorb less of the Neurontin than usual, so it may not be as effective. It is recommended they be taken, at least 2 hours apart. It should not, however, cause the types of symptoms that you've experienced. Have you contacted your doctor?

for multiple sclerosis ## I am not sure if the medication I have in mind is specifically for MS related pain, but from what I understand it is mostly for relapsing-remitting MS and secondary progressive MS with relapses. It is called Rebif, active ingredient Interferon Beta 1a. Is that what you have in mind or could it be a different name?? ## Rebif is a shot, not for pain but to help stop relapses in M.S. I have M.S., there is no pill just for pain for M.S. We use the same meds as anyone: Norco, Fentanyl, Neurontin, etc. ## Is Rebut used in extreme headaches due to a pulled neck muscle and severed neck vertebrae? I am going through therapy for my back and need spine surgery. I have been taking percocet for the past year now and my Dr wants to change my medication. He suggested something that starts with the letter N but didnt spell it right for me. Does anyone know of pain medication that starts with that letter. Not Naproxen, it's not an anti inflammitory ## It's supposed to be for nerves. ## Probaly Neurontin which is used to ease nerve pain. ## Or maybe Norco ## Those would be my best guesses, as well, since they are both used to treat pain, just in different ways. Neurontin is an anticonvulsant that's also been shown to help with nerve pain, it contains the active ingredient Gabapentin. And Norco contains the active ingredients Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone, so it's a narcoti...

I have white oval pills with the letters S G on one side and 117 on the other side of the pill. What are they? Neurontin 600mg? ## I located a white oval pill with S G on one side and 107 on the other. Is there any chance that you might've misread the imprint? The pill I found is reportedly identified as Metformin HCL 1000mg, used for type-2 diabetes. The S | G are separated by a score line on one side and the back has 1 | 07 also separated by a score line. For verification, the manufacturer is listed as ScieGen Pharmaceuticals and the pill itself carries a National Drug Code of 50228-0107. I hope this helps!

Upon taking Neurontin, I had an immediate change in colon issues. Constant gas inflates my belly to the point it is distended. When I pass gas, there is the WORST sour stench. Every fart I've let off has been exactly the same since the gabapentin has been in my system. When I do finally have to crap, it is loose, gooey, and is impossible to squeeze off. I'm in the bathroom for way too long, trying to force it all out (major strain). Then when I wipe, I have to spend so much time trying to get the messy poop residue off my o ring. Gross but a major issue. ## You know, I've been on 1800 mg on Neurontin just over a year now, for pain in my head I was diagnosed with a psuedotumor-cerebri....I also had my gallblader out 9 months ago and since then have everything you describe, go...

Can I take tramacet and neurontin for nerve pain? ## I am taking Neurontin for nerve pain in my face. I was also given Tramacet for headaches triggered by pain in the jaw joint. The Neurontin works on the face pain but not the jaw and headaches. I have found if I take tramcet late in the evening it won't let me sleep. The neurontin helps me sleep otherwise. If I take them both in the day time there is no problem but I just take the tramacet once in a day and maybe once or twice a week. I have fibromyalgia so have had trouble sleeping for 17 years - the neurontin is like a miracle drug because I can finally sleep!! And it is the only thing I take now.

I have been experiencing joint and muscle aches. Also a loss of memory and totally can't smell. Also things don't taste as good. I am on neurontin as well. That maybe together with eliquis is causing this lethargic and dizzy feeling. I had a really bad cough. I went into AFIBULATION and that is the reason for all these meds. ## Hi I Have Been Taking Eliquis For About A Week Now. What Will Happen If I Can't Take It ## Those can be normal side effects of Eliquis, as reported by the FDA. You may also experience headache, increased risk of bleeding and easy bruising. Michelle, you should take it, as long as your doctor directs you to do so. If you don't like the way it affects you, you could speak to them about possibly trying a different medication. I believe that my Meniere's was a result of off label use of Nerontin for back nerve pain which caused my Meniere's. I learned side effects from meds often never goes away even if you stop the drug. As you may know the company that produces Neurontin was sued by the US Department of Justce for the flagrant marketing of the drug to doctors very secretly for off label uses. The company made something like $2 Billion dollars from the off label marketing. There was a whistle blower who had letters and email that showed the company secretly was asking their sales people to market the drug for off label use. The government prevailed in the suit and a large sum was awarded. Those dollars were passed out to each state's attorneys general to set up programs to help make the public aw...
