I want to know what are the side effects of Lefno 10,if anyone is taking this tablet continuously and everyday from last 6months ## Lefno contains the active ingredient Leflunomide, it is commonly used to treat several forms of arthritis. This medication does have an effect on the liver and, though it is rare, long-term use may cause hepatic injury and the instance of such injuries occur more often if you are also taking other medications that can have an effect on the liver. I have taken lefno for 3 months,i want to conceive,my doc says there is washout therapy with cholestramine,but where do I get blood test done in India for safe level of the drug for pregnacy,are there any previous instances of safe pregancy after taking lefno & conceiving before 2 years of stopping it?

I was diagnosed ra positive 15 years back, I was in remission for 14 years. Two years back my problem started again. Now i am on lefno 10 + hydroxychloroquine 200 + follic acid daily + methotrexate 22 mg once a week. I started lefno only 3 months back. Now I have totally lost my appetite. There is no joint pain. What should I do? My doc is not available.

From my own personal experience, if you take tad bit too much of a specific vitamin, you may feel slight temporary nausea; but I can't imagine anything more than that, although everyone is different. I m RA paisent and take above tablet by RA specialist dr instruction as follow. Omnacartil 5 mg daily HCQS 400 mg daily Folitrax 15 mg weekly Fdson 5 mg twice in week Pl inform me any side effect of above doose. ## Folitrax 15 mg in a week,lefno 10mg OD mecabal plus daily ## I am a rheumatoid arthritis patient having ESR-25& RA factor greater than 100. Hi I am SLE patient from past 17yrs recentely my ANTI DSDNA ispositive ++ count is 622 my doctor prescribed me folitrax 5mg tablet twice on sunday only. but by mistake i have taken the tablet for abt 8 days continusely twice a day i mean 10mg daily for 8 days now i stopped the tablets when knowing i wrongily taken the medicene, now i got ulcers and my doctor asked me to use only HCQS ,wysolone 7.25 mg daily can i know by consuming folitrax 10mg daily what are the problem,s iam going to face now ## i am consuming folitrax 15 weekly and lefno 20 daily as prescribed at AIIMS..i am suffering with side effects like hair loss,diarrhoea and dry skin. how long should i take these tablets? the RA problem is almost reduced. ## Have either of you discussed your concerns with your respective doctor...
