I have been applying my husband's Androgel to his shoulders. He has a cast on one arm and is unable to do it himself right now. I wear a disposable glove each time. I have noticed a cooling, menthol-like feeling through the glove, which I assume is from the alcohol in it. I also noticed the inside of the glove seems wet when I take it off.
