My doctor is switching me from 100mg 2x a day labaetlol to 40mg lisinopril 1x a day how do the doses differ or are they comparable? I'm really nervous about switching I'm worried it'll drop my BP to low I've never had to take meds til I had my son and developed high BP from pre eclampsia I'm 21 my BP reads 150-130 top number and 90-100 bottom number ## What is the reason he gave for switching you? Small white round pill with an italicized E and the number 10 (not italicized beneath). The back has a white score line and nothing else. What is this? ## This tablet is manufactured by Sandoz Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 100mgs of Labetalol, which is most commonly used to treat high blood pressure. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and hypotension. Is there anything else I can help with?

What do the pill do I have pain in my hip and my friend gave me the yellow pill with teva on front and 4344 on back ## Hello, King! How are you? The only tablet that Teva lists as being close to this is a yellow tablet with TEVA on one side and the numbers 4364 on the other, above a score line. They list it as containing 100mgs of Labetalol, which is most commonly used to treat high blood pressure. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination and hypotension. Can you please double check the imprint and post back? Thanks!

They say that if blood pressure isn't lowered by taking hyzaar 50/12.5 mgs once a day, then upping the dosage to hyzaar 100/12.5 mgs will not make much of a difference... Is that true? ## It really depends, if it doesn't work, at all, that can be true and the person will most likely need to try a different medication. If it helps some, but doesn't take it down to the ideal level, then a higher dose could help. I experienced this, when I first started Labetalol, the initial dose of 100mgs did help, but I wasn't at the best numbers, so we took it up to 200mgs and now it works very well for me. However, I've also had others I tried that did nothing, so my cardiologist didn't think it was worth trying higher doses, since they just didn't seem to work for me. The ...
