large round white pill ## So far, we have been unable to identify this one. These are over the counter products and therefore the markings are not required to be logged with the FDA. Does anyone recognize this tablet? There is an L 484 that contains 500mgs of Acetaminophen, but it is an oblong tablet, not round.

Need to know the name of the pill thats white and oblong with the letter L and #s 424 on it ## I cannot find a listing for this tablet, however, I can tell you that these pills marked with an L followed by additional numbers are over the counter items. They are often sold by various stores as their store brands or generics. Does anyone else know what this is? Did you find it in the U.S.? ## L424 white round pill is Nicotine Lozenge. Was checking on son and asked. Sure enough pulled my bottle of wallgreen Nicotine Lozenge out and it was a match!

white oblong pill with L424 or L484 on it ## This marking is actually L484, but I found the pill to be Acetaminophen (500 mg). The closest match I've found is a white round pill with the imprint L421. It is called Medique medi seltzer and contains aspirin (325 mg) + citric acid (1000 mg) + sodium bicarbonate (1916 mg). It's basically Alka Seltzer; which is an effervescent antacid and pain reliever tablet first marketed by the Dr. Miles Medicine Company. It was developed by Maurice Treener, head chemist at Miles, in Elkhart Indiana.
