The closest match I've found is a white round pill with the imprint L421. It is called Medique medi seltzer and contains aspirin (325 mg) + citric acid (1000 mg) + sodium bicarbonate (1916 mg). It's basically Alka Seltzer; which is an effervescent antacid and pain reliever tablet first marketed by the Dr. Miles Medicine Company. It was developed by Maurice Treener, head chemist at Miles, in Elkhart Indiana.
