L Want To Lose Weight Which Tablet Can Used That Has No Side Effects

Hi. I am a teacher and have children with immune deficiencies who require a lot of attention and infusions every month. I am on Wellbutrin and Prozac. He is now weaning me off the Wellbutrin and starting me slowly on epitec. First 25mg, then 50mg, then 100mg, then 150mg. He said it is to help me cope with my circumstances and make me “thicker skinned”, not because I have bipolar. I am very confused because some people say that epitec has a side effect of gaining weight and others say it has helped them lose weight. I am absolutely paranoid about putting on weight. I eat quite healthily but not when I’m stressed, and I don’t have time for exercise. I started Ozempic in October 2021. I was 209 pounds. I am now 134 pounds. I first started taking Ozempic .25 mg for 3 weeks. I really didn’t lose that much weight and no s/e. I was still a little hungry then I was increased to .50 mg. My appetite started to decrease, and I did that for 3 weeks. Then I started the regular dose of 1 mg, my appetite definitely decreased. I've talked about this problem before concerning the side effects from Spiriva. The only side effect I've experienced was a sudden, and seemingly permanent weight gain. In spite of efforts to lose the weight I've had no success whatsoever. I've gained weight from other medications in the past only to lose it when the medication was discontinued. Not so with Spiriva. It has been almost three years since I've used the inhaler but yet the added weight persists. I should mention that all of the added weight has been on the midsection and nowhere else! To make matters worse has been a disended abdomen to go along with it. I contacted the drug company right after it happened and, naturally, they acted as if it was new to them! My psychiatrist put me on Epitec which I started last week Monday, I am on a very low dosage 25 mg X 2 weeks, 50 mg X 2 weeks, 100 mg X 2 weeks and 200 mg X 4 weeks. Hello. I took Spiriva inhaler a couple of years ago for six weeks and gained an unsightly 22 lbs that I cannot get rid of. Even though I haven't used the drug in two years, while trying to lose the weight ever since, I just cannot get rid of it. Every pound has been on the midsection and nowhere else. Along with that is that I'm left with a distended abdomen that looks ridiculous. Even though a less common side effect it still exiists. I've been on Metformin for 9 months and have gained weight even though it is supposed to help lose weight. What are the side effects of HCG? ## Hi Terry, The HCG diet seems like a pretty extreme way to lose weight. Personally, I have my doubts about it's long term effectiveness, due to the lack of calories and nutrients needed to fuel your mind & body throughout the day, everyday. You can easily determine the side effects of eating 500 calories a day, by only eating 500 a day and assessing how you feel (although I don't recommend trying it for your own sanity).
