I have some Ed-a-hist 4-10mg tablets that expired on 5/29/15, are they still safe for me to take and will they still be helpful to me? ## Hi Perky, I can't speak for this drug specifically, but when it comes to expiration dates in general, one rule of thumb is that the listed expiration date is more of a ball-park figure rather than a precise date by which it essentially renders unsafe/ineffective (aside from tetracycline). Studies from Harvard Medical School as well as The LA Times point out that many medications are actually still good for up to 10-40 years after the listed expiration date. I have some clindamycin left over from a few months ago and I was curious if it treats a urinary tract infection ## The drugs most often used to treat routine, uncomplicated UTI's are trimethoprim (Trimpex), trimethoprim/sufamethoxazole (Bactrim, Septra, Cotrim), amoxicillin (Amoxil, Trimox, Wymox), nitrofurantoin (Macrodantin, Furadantin), and ampicillin [1]. Although Clindamycin is not on the above list, it does not necessarily mean that it won't work. The thing with UTIs is that urine testing and/or medical history may be required to determine the specific bacteria causing the infection. Different meds for different bacetria. Hope this helps. Sub seems to really help me, BUT...i heard wds are a nightmare! My dope town has a free 4 mth intense sub program but im debating if taking subs for that long will give me a dependency? Hello. I have a history of irregular periods. After seeing the dr when we were trying for a baby, she prescribed coseval and metformin tables. I conseved in a month or 2. But later found that baby was not growing and had to go for a dnc in dec. Now, we want to try again. But afraid that something like that might happen again. Could you tell me if the above 2 tablets(conseval and metformin) have something to do with that? And can i continue with them now and what should be the dose.

Hi. I was hospitalized for a month for pancreatitis, hypocalemia, and while at hospital I got c diff. Also found out I had elevated creatine levels (kidneys). I have history of irregular periods, 2 month gap usually, this tune it's gap of 3 month so we did consultation with Gynaecologist and UPT was negative on 3 occasion, on USG i had simple cyst of 54cc in right ovary, my doctor adviced me tab. I am 62 and have no history of hypertension, yet there was a sudden spike in my blood pressure reaching 160/100, so my Dr. prescribed several medicines (Amlodipine 5mg, Enlapril, Clopidogrel 75mg, Aspirin 75mg, Atrovastatin).
