im looking for info on a large capsule shaped pill that is a pinkish, orange. it either says L-FLAY or L-FLAV ## found it in my house ## Lipoflavonoid ## I use this pill 2 3x a day to control the ringing in my ears... Works for me but cost allot ## @concerned, I can confirm that the pill in question is indeed Lipo-flavenoid. Based on my research, Lipo-flavenoid is a proprietary, over-the-counter, nutrient formula created in 1961, by DSE Healthcare Solutions, which is claimed by the manufacturer to help combat tinnitus (sounds in the ears). It has not been approved by the Food and Drug Administration for this purpose. It is sold as a dietary supplement and is composed of eriodictyol glycoside (a bioflavonoid found naturally in the peel of lemons) and the following vitamins: vitamin B6 an...

Labeled L-Flav Golden/brown oblong in shape ## what is pill with name L.FLAV used for? ## L-FLAV tablets are Lipoflavenoid and are supposed to stop ringing in your ears. The only thing that they did for me was take my money ## Sadly, as Richard has experienced, these are actually a supplement, so they are not actually proven to help with anything. Though the FDA does warn that they may cause nausea, headache, and stomach pain, in some people that take them. If you are on any other medications, you should also double check, before adding any additional medications, or supplements. Are there any questions?

For the past six months, I've taken cholestyramine~ 4 scoops a day. I've discovered that (silk brand) coconut milk interacts with cholestyramine and makes it frothy! And it masks that factory taste! Chunky applesauce also adds texture. Anyhow, the cholestyramine is working! ## Hello, Blue! How are you? That's awesome! I'm glad you've discovered something that works. The prescribing information provided by the FDA also says that it can be mixed with soups or other fruits, such as chunky pineapple, as long as their is enough liquid. The typical side effects of this medication may possibly including dizziness, drowsiness and constipation. Is there anything I can help with? ## Hi I just started this med on Monday. After a few days of taking it, I developed a severe case of rash and had to receive Benadry by injection and afterwards Claritin for a few days. I took 2 of the pills to an allergist, had several prick tests done, and found that I was allergic to something in the product. How can that be if it's only a combination of vitamins? ## What specific item did the allergist say you were allergic to? When something is in tablet form, to hold the shape, it usually contains inactive ingredients, as well as the active products, so it's always possible to have a reaction to one of them. ## The doctor did not test all the ingredients individually, just tested the whole product and told me that I should avoid it because there was "something" in it that I was allergic to. He said that i...

Can you add flavoring so child can drink? ## If it was prescribed for your child, then it should already be available in flavors and chewables. Tylenol 3 contains Acetaminophen and Codeine, so this is not something you should not just give to a child because they have a headache or stomach ache - this should only be given when a doctor says it is alright to do so and prescribed it for them. And let me state, that most doctors will not prescribe opioids to children for typical childhood ailments. These are only used for children suffering severe conditions that cause pain.
